I just made a collector account and i logged in .
It said convert free account to premium account. I clicked Convert and bam i got premium and the BIGGEST LOL see below:

This means you have to unlock your account before you can make the changes.

I found what RS wants. When users convert to premium, the file storage limit comes + users can extend the current premium account using points. Normally collector accounts allow to generate new accounts only( no extend option)

Its another one of their money-making strategies. Think about it, at least 20-30% of those who get the free premium will renew their account when their premium expires... Thus rapidshare get more monies.
