I can understand doing that every once in a while if the thread falls back a few pages and you want to bump your friends thread but a whole page of "omg good luck" and that nonsense is simply idiotic. I think these posters should get an infraction for it, since they're clearly doing it just to boost their post count without contributing anything.

Sorry but no, I have done this myself a time or two for the simple reason of showing support to friends who are selling something nothing more nothing less. I could care less about post count.

JGM.

Amen to that..
There is nothing more annoying than people replying with "Good luck with your sale" when someone sells a RS account for four bucks.. :|

^lol thats not a fair statement to make alot of people on here are here to help :)

Admittedly their are a few who just flame but that has cooled down alot more

Honestly, these posts are stupid. If i was selling something, i would get kinda pissed if everyone just said "good luck for the sale" and no-one bidded. Whats the point of them? They just increase post counts...
I dunno, I reckon they should be stopped

Oh and what happens if they increase there posts?
Do they earn something for that?
A good luck wish is always good which I personally feel;)

I also start to find it frustrating sometimes.
As a buyer all I want to see are reviews, complaints or promotions.

Now you need to browse x amounts of pages to get through the suggestions and love-notes.

well ok personally i think that the good luck sale alone should not be included you should have a valid point about the other persons posts on whats good, and then later u can say good luck for the sale.

coz if you say that alone seems like there is something wrong somewhere that the buyer will be confused :)

^^^Thats my point of view :)
