Some Advice

Hey guys

I'm looking at setting up a site for Horror Movies but wanted some advice on weather I should setup a forum or a Wordpress Blog?

I think this site will be unique for as far as I'm aware there is no site like this on Katz

Me was thinking a forum as members can have discussions about the movies and the horror genre in general

I like MyBB so might go down that route

I suggest a forum, and vBulletin or phpBB.

Maybe VBulletin, don't like PHPBB

Blog, you get more points (as your traffic will view your posts only, not other people's), faster direct traffic (blogs usually have more consistent, quality posts) forums are mostly just a mess of some people autoposting (with exceptions of warez-bb eg) therefor the returning traffic is pretty low

I am with The Coon. Wordpress would be my choice. If it is going to be a dedicated Horror movie blog, and you get some HD movies up on there, I will definitely visit regularly.

Thanks for your advice, I was thinking if I setup a forum I would restrict the posting of movies to a group (Uploader Team) but I'm thinking twice now cos I like Blogs

A Blog Would be better IMO
Its too easy to maintain and wont be a resource hog.
