Ya I know this was done before and FireFox kicked ass but a lot has changed since.
I was reading that the % of people using Fire Fox is dropping for the first time ever and that Chrome is rising fast as is pretty much every mobile browser. Opera is also rising slightly since Windows allows choice while IE continues to drop.
Lots of developers and webmasters are switching to Chrome because it has most of the FireFox plugins, supports CSS 3 and is a lot faster. eg. w3 schools
I'm interested in comparing this poll with the old one from a year ago to see how things have changed here and does it follow the same pattern as elsewhere.
- CSS 3 has become a lot more popular (which FireFox doesn't really support)
- Mobile browsers are becoming huge and taking a bit of the % market
- Chrome now allows addons
- Windows allows you to chose on startup which browser to install.
- lots of other developments and stuff
