Ya I know this was done before and FireFox kicked ass but a lot has changed since.

  • CSS 3 has become a lot more popular (which FireFox doesn't really support)
  • Mobile browsers are becoming huge and taking a bit of the % market
  • Chrome now allows addons
  • Windows allows you to chose on startup which browser to install.
  • lots of other developments and stuff

I was reading that the % of people using Fire Fox is dropping for the first time ever and that Chrome is rising fast as is pretty much every mobile browser. Opera is also rising slightly since Windows allows choice while IE continues to drop.
Lots of developers and webmasters are switching to Chrome because it has most of the FireFox plugins, supports CSS 3 and is a lot faster. eg. w3 schools

I'm interested in comparing this poll with the old one from a year ago to see how things have changed here and does it follow the same pattern as elsewhere.

I choose Chrome, Been with it from the start :) and it really is fast, ff take me a while to start and uses more RAM than chrome on my computer. Oh and i really like how in chromes developer tab it organizes everything and make it easy for a person to see what is wrong and where :)
Oh and Google made it :)
 
FF: i use when i need something for development purpose.
Safari: have installed but i dont use it
Opera: have installed but i dont use it.
IE: have installed but i dont use it.
Chrome: chrome is going to rule soon on all over browsers because of its rich features and light weight, very nice for net browsing and other stuff. so i am most of the time on chrome
 
If a mod want's to make the poll public they, can I forgot to do that. oh ya and I've being using Chrome for a while now but I still use FireFox a bit for some stuff like firebug and a useragent mod I have. You still can't yet change useragents on Chrome without changing .dll files.
 
Always used firefox since I started using PC, it used to be called as Netscape if not mistaken, now chrome are getting better, I tried it, opera is too. Sadly, IE and Safari just doesn't have enough users and are going down.
 
opera mainly.......but use firefox to watch videos......opera can sometimes get a bit buggy with videos or me/......im going away from ie as i dont like the way they are treating windows xp users.......trying to squeeze them into buying another os system
 
i use firefox mainly,use google chrome for posting stuff i was kinda a fan of opera was using it since 2 years but its lack of addons is causing me to use firefox and today opera is the fastest browser ive been testing it today and its beat everyone on speed its lightweight and new look is good too using its with google chrome skin but due to lack of addons cant make it my primary browser
 
the first day chrome was released it was hacked and bug was found :| - rumors may be.

So :
FF - IDK because I love it? :|
Flock - seems faster than FF though :O
IE - Every time I open it, it hangs up :S
Opera - Used to use it earlier but no interest anymore.
Chrome - May be but no I don't have it at least for now.
Safari - OFC for p0rn :P (NO) >_>
 
FF: installed on all my pcs/laptops/netbooks :P
Opera: installed on my desktop and phone :P
Chrome: doesn't work on my pc :(
IE: get that shit away from me :-?
Safari: never used
