Very ignorant assumption mate. There happens to be a very big difference between yourself and Google. Whilst Google operates to distribute/index a variety of different links and content, you operate your website solely on the purpose of indexing links to copyrighted content/warez related material. With a meta description set as "Seeking Warez is a search engine for all your warez needs. Making them that much easier." you as good as pleaded your guilt and destroyed your only defence. Good luck using the old "Google does it too" one liner in a court of law, see how far it gets you.

Now, moving more on topic, as has been proven with this case, running such a website has its risks and consequences, which you are in turn trading for the potential benefits. Don't like the prospect of going to jail? don't break the law. Yes.. even if it is grey area. No amount of ground you cover to hide your identity will ever protect you if the right people want you badly enough.

I also think he was right to plead guilty, it saved him allot of time, money and the extra sentence he would have received if he head tried to defend the case otherwise. How about the fact the laws he got charged for breaking he only broke indirectly? This wouldn't have mattered, they would have just proven the intent. Freedom of expression? It doesn't exist. The idea of a free world? Don't kid yourself.
 
Damn, very sorry to hear that mate, best of all and you've proven how dangerous Warez Scene can be! Linking or not, if you have big Forum, hosted onshore and accepting donations you are pretty much fucked.
 
Ouch, feel sorry for the guy, he doesn't seem like a guy that will cope in prison, he will sadly be subject to extreme sexual abuse. The guys at prison will love his soft nerdy ass. :|

I think this sends a warning to everybody out there profiting from warez, sell up and move on. I'm defo not silly enough to run a warez forum again. :P
 
Yea he was a good guy , i dont give a fuck here is no copyright and that stuff law so :P

How much time he will be at Jail if anyone knows?

Thats the problem...
People are here only to make money.
Warez used to be place where people shared shit,now its place where everybody want to make big $$$.
Fucking if you are here to earn money then leave and get a real job,its not worth it.
