I'm just wondering if the 'Subtitles' feature always going to be a manual uploading process?
Because 90% of my uploads, contains videos with subtitles embed already. Will there not be an automatic rip and process from the website so that they show on the videos?

This feature is not currently available, but videos with subtitles are currently only visible on mobile devices.

The ability to upload subtitles is available, but we are continuously updating and will add everything gradually.

New: You can insert the ISO 639-1 language code at the beginning/end of the file name, separated by a period. Alternatively, you can use a vertical line as a separator between the language and the subtitle URL.

Example:
English|https://subtitle.com/subtitles/movie.srt
New: Upload Subtitle Files (Max. 20)
Subtitle formats: .srt, .vtt, .ass, .sub, .stl, .dfxp, .ttml, .sbv, .txt
New: You can find the subtitle file that you uploaded earlier through the Subtitle URL field by typing the file name.

I'm glad that you guys are taking the time and thoroughly building it out. Everything works superfast and video quality is excellent. I haven't found anything to bring to your concern as of yet besides the 'Subtitle' thing. I understand full what you said.
As far the advertising thing goes, I have no idea how to use it. I'm personally new to all of this. I'll get around to learning how that works one day but for now, i'm just concentrating on providing consistant and stable content on my website.

Okay so, the last two days of testing out the site has been up and downs. Lately a lot of downs 😔.
Everything started good but issues are now surfacing. First thing I saw today is that you're putting ads on the videos now. Whereas there wasn't any yesterday. Not saying that it's a bad thing, just pointing out that I've noticed that.

So yesterday I pointed out that I couldn't get sound on the videos after initially trying the site and it worked fine. After doing the couple of things you suggested above and doing countless other things to exhaustion, I still have no success of getting sound from your platform on videos using the Google Crome Browser. I've literally done everything I could think of. From, clearing its cache, to updating the browser to its newest version, uninstalling the browser completely and trying on another installed Google Chrome App. Nothing works! That's a Major problem. Millions of people use Chrome. Me included, as their majority default browser.

Moving on ...
So, I started working on website for myself that I wanted to share with people eventually. I started building it and its on trial stage for another 9 days while I'm looking for a good source to host and store my videos with. I started uploading to your platform and the process is smooth and seamless. I upload one video at time directly from my laptop your site mainly because I don't know another way to do it (remember I'm new to this). I upload and let them sit on your site for about an hour before I add the embedded html code to my site to make sure it has ample time to process. Today I noticed out of the maybe 8 that I uploaded, 5 was displayed as broken but they were not before I went to bed last night.

Lastly, I tried your videos on my experimental site: freemiustv.ghost.io
I can't get them to stream normally on my mobile device iPad or iPhone, Your videos do stream on my laptop and desktop. I am mentioning this because other video hosting platform works on my site.

Could you test freemiustv.ghost.io on your iPhone and iPad to see what I mean.
I put a Test Post Episode 1, your video for you to see
Then try the second video below it to see that it works with other video hosts.

Sorry the post is so long but how do i post this shortly. 🤷‍♂️

Hello, a thorough test was conducted and the video player is working efficiently. As for the advertisement on the video, it was simply a system test.

We thoroughly investigated the issue and found no problem with the sound because we are using JW Player. The platform is constantly evolving, but this is currently a beta system. We will release the stable version in about a month. You can test the system continuously so we can listen to suggestions and improve the platform.
