User needs to switch them on, meaning they actually need to click on icon CC and choose the subtitles.
Any way to make it so they are switched on automatically?

Okay then, go to settings choose your default sub language they will be selected automatically.

not working for me, cuz i put shortcounrty code like hr for Croatian, make it with select, no input..better for us :D

Yes we can make it select instead of input, you have to use the exact text of the lang you select, if it has capital letter you have to use that, or short letter use that.

Why is there no API check for files?

There is no way to check file status (to see if its deleted or broken) via API?
