I've been using this site for a long time, file-upload.org, but it went down about two weeks ago and didn't come back up for two or three days. Is there an alternative site that pays well for 1,000 downloads (about $2 for Egypt specifically) and accepts porn content?

I haven't owned a PPD website for many years, but that's an insane rate for a file host to pay for Egypt. There's no way for the host to make anything.

File Upload used to charge $2 for 1,000 downloads, but now it's getting worse and there's no support.

Do you know of another alternative? Even one for a lower price.

I haven't kept up with file hosting services. I couldn't name three that even exist now, but, I can say be skeptical when something looks too good to be true. They'll either not pay, skim a lot, or go under and leave you with dead links.

Unfortunately, I searched and didn't find any new sites. Either sites that make good profits but don't accept pornographic content, or sites that accept pornographic content but don't make more than a few cents (I've been working on one site for about a month and I only make 45 cents!).
 
Even I am using file-upload for long, but recently the site is going down a lot. Payouts are taking very long time. Support email never responds. Rates are also reduced.
I would suggest dropgalaxy.com - very prompt in support and payouts.

You can try 365file.net accepts porn content and payout rate also good
