Hey guys,

dont know how much you heard already about it but there was an fire in Strasbourg at ovh.

Some files are lost which were on these 20 Servers due to the fire. Everything else is safe and after SBG3 will be back online these files are available again

So after everything goes back to normal at ovh tomorrow, we will probably send an email to the users which are affected of it.

ah this is why i was wondering why my videos are there and than when i click on them it showes : video not found ( maybe deleted by the creator ) really thanks for informing us
 
At the moment its unclear what is exactly lost. We had 20 Servers in SBG2 were the fire was. So they are probably lost. But we have 30-50 Servers in SBG 3 and SBG4 as well. The servers are fine but not connected to the internet yet. So if SBG3 - SBG4 comes back were the eta is atm 1-2 weeks we can tell you what is lost.

But if we would send emails now out with files which are not online they could be back online in 2-3 days.

And somehow because others Videohosts are probably more impacted than us we see a huge traffic spike up atm. So it can be possible that everything can be a little bit slower today / tomorrow.

Im sorry for it but this time its not our fault :)

I understand it was the problem no one expected, now if I do the upload then everything is okay?

Little Update:

We got news from our OVH Account manager and it seems like we are lucky. We didnt had any server in SBG2 which completly burned down. Only 10 Servers in SBG1. Which is only partly damaged. He told us with some luck we didnt lost anything and everything will be online till Friday March 19.

Even if we lost something its a lot less than expected. I know it sucks that they need till Monday / friday till its back online but nothing we can do right now.

so there's no need to reupload the videos ?
I found some videos error but still there in file manager. Probably 1-5% of total videos.

SBG3 and SBG4 servers are fine but still offline till monday / friday. Like i wrote we had 10 servers in SBG1 which is partly damaged. We dont have any information if our 10 Servers survived it or not. Monday we will have new information but i expect if we lost files its not much.
