I tried on my site to use embedded subs like this: openload.co/f/4zb9c8sUsRg/?c1_file=http:-//mywebsite/subs/test.srt&c1_label=English
(I know the website is wrong)

But there's a problem, If I want to update the subtitle, and I try to change the .srt, the old one is used everytime, even if I change the file.

Is it normal? What other way arround I have?

Cheers

rename that .srt and upload again

or

openload.co/f/4zb9c8sUsRg/?c1_file=http:-//mywebsite/subs/test.srt&c1_label=English&directSRT=true

and allow origin * in .htaccess (on your site)

Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Headers "Content-Type"
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Methods "GET"

That doesn't seem to fix, I'm using an http website and it fails here

Mixed Content: The page at 'https-openload.co/embed/blabla/?c1_file=http-mysite.com/asset/sub.srt&c1_label=Subtitle&directSRT=true' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint 'http-mysite.eu/asset/sub.srt'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

Consider the urls are well written of course.

@openload

Have you put on pre-roll ads now? I just saw one.

In addition to all the pop-ups we have on the player, they just added a pre-roll ads whitout reducing the number of pop-ups.[:|]
One would have expected that at least the pre-roll will replace some pop-ups but that's not the case. So now, we have the same numbers of pop-ups + a pre-roll video. Where are we heading to ? The ads have become so oppressive. :-&

Little update, I managed to get a SSL working and now https problem is gone. But still I have this one:

XMLHttpRequest cannot load https-mysite.eu/assets/subtitle.srt. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'https-openload.co' is therefore not allowed access.

Any tip? I've been a couple of hours over this and still no success :(

Why do I get this feeling that Openload is going to close now? :(

this company is a greedy company, by putting pre-roll ads which gives them 3x money of now as its most profitable ads right now. And they are not increasing the rates, so its pre-roll + popups, this company operated by popcash company doesn't really give a damn about you guys anymore, they're going to put more ads, by using this video player now from openload, your visitors will not wait for 29 seconds to load finish on their desktop. And will run away. not sure why are you guys still using this host, now you guys going regret it lol, told you guys before they will put more ads and you guys just don't believe it LOL, just go to rapidvideo com and use their host, no pre-roll ads, fastest streaming 3x faster than openload, stable host, no jokes.

Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"

I did use that, and it seems to be working because I tested it.
But for some reason it still gives me this error XMLHttpRequest cannot load https-mysite.eu/assets/subtitle.srt. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'https-openload.co' is therefore not allowed access.

Even tried to replace * with the url.

Hi,

sorry for letting you in the dark according to he preroll ads.
These ads are in a testing phase, the goal is to fully replace pops.
As these is a brand new format and have a very limited fillrate, please allow us some more days of testing.
Please understand that we have to do these tests. Probably many of you knows already that in 2018 popups and similar ads will be fully blocked from google chrome.

Regards

Marcel

Why do I get this feeling that Openload is going to close now? :(

Actually its the opposite, as every host not changing ad formats wont be working with google chrome from 2018.

Your testing phrase started 2 days ago and still in testing phrase, please tell everyone exactly how many minutes seconds is your exact pre roll timing in the launch phrase, so they can get ready all the videos to shift over another host if it's still at 29seconds. Youtube have only 5 seconds

Why you still use openload and not youtube?

I am not using openload anymore, i dumped openload into a thrashbin already. Established for 2 years yet video player still doesn't load like Jwplayer fast enough, yet so much bullshit ads in one download page LOL. Even put two bait downloads in the right left of the REAL download link. Such a method to generate more profit only openload could think of it.

i am not so naive like you who would still use openload with a snail loading speed and with a management who doesn't care about the users at all, they could release an annoucement to everyone saying they are going to put a test phrase in a notice so they are prepared for it, but somehow, they are doing directly, sure i am fine with it, but but i am seeing how openload doing bullshit things behind user back such as putting pre roll ads into their player and not informing users in advance, what's the point here posting sorry to everyone. They could choose a 5 second pre-roll yet they used a 29second, it only shows they're only trying to get good earnings out of it.

Hope openload could survive long enough until 2018 hopefully. And those who got affected by a 29 second pre-roll, good luck to you for the next few weeks with this pre-roll, LOOL. Wave your last hand to your visitors l0l.

And btw, this is a feedback, not a personal attack against openload, take my feedback into your folders and submit up to the management and start doing good again and you will gain more users lol. Hopefully lol
