It has been a while that RDP providers have started selling 10 Gbps RDP. Not sure who started first but I always wanted to try one.
I'm not really a hardcore uploader who was in severe need of such speed, I just wanted to use it to see if such fascinating speed was possible.

HostDzire in my opinion was offering the best specs with 2 x Intel Octo-Core Xeon E5 powerful CPU & specially with the SSD disks, because a 10Gbps port won't really perform its best with normal HDDs.

Anyway, the prices were really high because of such high specs & I couldn't go for it. Until recently they offered a flat 50% recurring discounts in all their 10Gbps RDP plans. So I bought a 100GB slot in half price.

This is my second session with HostDzire as I was totally into other jobs/ projects last 6 months or so & didn't need a RDP. The support is great & helpful like it was before & delivery was really fast. It was a smooth transaction overall.

At first, I was really sceptic about the fact that max number of people in a server is 20. Sometimes they hog the resources n all, but the support was great and even offered to refund my money if something was wrong or unsatisfactory.

So finally I got a slot and here are some tests that I did. Its pretty impressive till now.
I'm posting the screenshots here for details.

1. DOWNLOADING TEST FILES TO CHECK THE 10Gbps NODE

2. 10 GB Rar (Around 50 Seconds)

3. 10 GB Unrar (Around 25 Seconds)

4. UPLOADING TO POPULAR FILEHOSTS

RAPIDGATOR

UPLOADED.NET

KEEP2SHARE

OPENLOAD.IO

UPLOADABLE.CH

HUGEFILES.NET

(* You can see the variation in speed - Rapidgator vs Other hosts. There's a huge difference as other hosts dont really accept a 10Gbps upload. It can also be that in VIP/ Premium accounts upload speed may be more. )

5. SINGLE FILE DOWNLOAD FROM RAPIDGATOR

(*Downloading multiple files will obviously multiply the speed. You can easily download 6-8 files simultaneously. Everything will be downloaded in 10-15 seconds.
** Couldn't try downloading from other hosts because I dont have premium account anywhere else.

6. TORRENTS

There was no use adding a single torrent because its over in 10 seconds and without even reaching the peak speed. So I did 2 tests - one with several relatively small sized torrents around 1GB or less & another with larger torrents around 4Gb in sizes.

SMALLER TORRENTS

LARGER TORRENTS

For one thing I haven't found an ideal way of testing the 10Gbps node because other filehosts or speedtesting network doesnt accommodate this speed.
I think the best way to test a 10Gbps server is from another similar server, but that wasn't possible.

This is one of my inaccurate attempts through speedtest.net - Speedtest.net by Ookla - My Results
And it was a horrible result probably because the host server on the other side itself wasn't speedy enough.
Downloading several test files parallel itself can prove this speedtest wrong.

I didnt know what else to test. Mine is a non-encoding slot so I didnt test anything about encoding stuffs.
Overall I really like the server, specially after the discount brought the price down.

If you can suggest any other test, you are welcome to post here.
Also if you need to test any other filehost speed on my RDP you can contact me.

Thanks.
:)
