@Mr Happy: Most existing threads that would be fit for a coding section are actually quite busy.

- sharpleech and other leecher threads
- Jay's threads
- iCSnap topic
- Splitice's tool (can't remember name)
- LiveW (44 pages and counting)
- LSF (the serial finder)
- the data to img topic
- tons of others ....

Surely it wouldn't be like buy/sell but I'm sure it wouldn't be the least active section. Again, lots of webmasters are coders or can code.

i agree to this 100% a very nice idea, it will be a very active and helpful section to the coders and to the webmasters who need help coding.

no word from the admins as if this will be implemented.

Hopefully they add both coding and gfx at the same time as tons agreed on both sections

What's graphics got to do with webmastering? I can see coding has a lot to do if you're learning php or wanting to share some code from your script or something like that but graphics doesn't seem to have that much to do with webmasters.

Deleted I think you missed this thread buddy - http://www.wjunction.com/showthread.php?t=22039

people request/help others with graphics for there sites just as logos, icons, ect. It was requested once before with a large following behind it.

Guess this thread can be closed as we got our answer.

stupidest thing i've read in months.

in most recent cases, good graphics and a successful site go hand in hand.

well i gotta say i completely disagree with "good graphics and a successful site go hand in hand.".

Longetivity and a dedicated team = sucess.

KatzForums is ugly imo but its looked after. Same for warez-bb. Its not exactly a top-of-the-range skin is it, its the default one with a bit of sugar sprinkled on it, but it didnt hinder its sucess.

Too many people concern themselves with mods and skins and all that. Yeah its nice to have a good looking forum, but not at the cost of having to load huge 200k images all over the place. Just look after it and keep it clean and the rest will take care of itself.

^ which is also true and why is said 'in most recent cases'.

if you have an active forum with loads of members and content, you do not need good graphics to gain new members on your site or to help it grow even bigger. newer sites which don't have much content, little or no members and shit graphics will find it hard to grow since there is no reason for anyone to sign up there.

edit:
good and unique graphics will make a site stand out from the rest and has a huge impact
