It makes no sense for the Syrian government to use chemical weapons, the U.S. is against it and willing to attack them if they use them, and it was to close to the capital city. They are also letting the UN investigate it.

The Syrian rebels tried assassinating the UN investigators so they wouldn't find out it was them that did it and not the Syrian government.

I am not from Syria, but everyone knows what happened there. Terrorists used chemical weapons against civilians, and everyone knows that except USA, UK and France. If NATO attacks Syria, Russia will have two choices: to protect a very valuable friend (who buys russian weapons more than 50 years, and where Russia have access to Mediterranean Sea), or to reject to help them. If Russia decides to help them, then WWIII will start: NATO against Russia and China.

NATO should wait until UN finish the job, and get all evidence, then we can judge them.

I don't understand what USA have to do in Syria, when their allie Saudi Arabia have ridiculous laws, and no one attack them. And also Saudi Arabia funded terrorists, and what i know USA "doesn't" cooperate with the terrorists.

I LOL'ed

I don't know what the truth is but I really doubt a terrorist organization can use chemical weapons. Who are terrorists? They are small time criminals who are trained BY THE GOVERNMENT for some cunning purpose and at the end, they turn terrorists by back-f**king the government. It is highly impossible (imo) to use chemical weapons unless the government is supporting/sponsoring your actions. Just like a teacher will know his/her student well, just like the parents know their children well - government will be aware of these terrorists. It would not be too hard to catch and f**k them.

Whatever the truth may be, US of A should not poke their nose in this. If required, UN should send in their troops (peacekeepers, I believe) and sort things out. US of A has no f**king business in Syria unless called for help by UN.

1. Anyone can make chemical weapons if they want to, There are thousands of different chemistry and biology books on the internet, as well as books on physics and information on rocket design. If people can make crystal meth with basic knowledge and a few common cooking items, what do you think people that have read several dozen books on chemistry and biology can do with a somewhat decent lab, and buying unregulated chemical items to mix.

2. What difference does it make if the U.S. decides to do it, or the U.N. decides to do it. Doesn't the U.N. have no business as well ?

Just so everyone knows terrorists did not used chemical attack on innocent people infact the Syria'n president did it.

It's not clear whether it was Assads forces or the rebels who used the chemical weapons. The US, UK and France have openly concluded that it was the Syrian gov based on no hard evidence, only the assumption that the rebels don't have the means to using them. However, a chemical cache belonging to the rebels was previously found by Assads army.

If you look at the past wars and interventions in the middle-east, there is is a very good reason for people's concerns and distrust for the United States and the west on the whole. Firsty, take the Iraq war: based on lies made by the Bush administration and the UK government. Now look at Iraq - a shattered country in a far worse state than it was before any intervention by the west. I won't go into Libya, Lebanon, on-going war with Iran etc. but you can do your own reading.

The majority of people understand this and therefore want the west to stay out of it - but most people don't understand the underlying reasons why the west wants to intervene in the first place. It's not to fight for human rights whatsoever, they don't care about the lives lost and are only using the chemical weapons attack as a justification to send troops there.

If they cared about the rights of the Syrian people and are concerned with Assads regime, they would have intervened when the civil war started 2 years ago. If you think Assads regime is bad, take a look at Saudi Arabia's regime - it's much, much worse than Syrian regime. But the west are doing nothing to intervene there, wonder why?

If you look at the history, the facts and the proof you'll be able to see through the bullshit.

UN has a business, a business to keep peace all over the world. Isn't that the reason for its formation?

Thats a self appointed mission, it still doesn't give them any more right than a particular nation going to war with another one.

Syria is a soverign country, no other country should have the right to intervene, even the UN which is a worldwide organisation. Hence, the UN had to seek permission to enter - they were allowed into the country by Assad to perform their tests on the chemical attack site(s).

If the results prove that the Syrian gov used the weapons, it would be a breach of "international law" which then gives others the justification to intervene. Why the US and UK want to do so really makes no sense to me - the countries are drowning in debt and can't even afford basics for their own citizens, but want to spend billions on military force in other countries which only ends in more bloodshed.

Even if the results prove indecisive, the west have already made clear they will be backing the terrorist rebels anyway.

Our debt is debt that we owe to ourselves, and it's not even that much to be honest. We borrowed from within our country, externally we owe less than $3 trillion dollars.

You guys all talk about not watching the news and believing what you hear, well you should do so in all cases because you're seriously underestimating many situations and conditions.

I don't know how you can say were struggling here in the USA either. That's the most ridiculous statement in the entire world. Our citizens get free homes, food, clothes, cell-phones, utilities, unemployment, social security, medical, huge tax rebates in the form of EIC and so on. So for you to say that we are struggling is impeccable.

Furthermore, if we do decide to wipe out the Government leaders with or without UN approval, it makes no difference. I personally don't want the bombs to rain lie hell on Syrian leaders, but if they can't get a grip on their own country and stop killing each other, then maybe it's for the best if one side doesn't have a strategy board anymore.

People seem to forget that we lost 3,000 lives in 2001 which was why we went into Iraq and Afghanistan.

People seem to forget that the Syrian government has been killing it's own people 100,000+ casualties and counting.

People seem to forget that the Iranian leader isn't even liked by his own people, continuously threatens Israel and the United States.

People seem to forget that in Vietnam North Korea invaded the whole of South Korea.

People seem to forget that Japan bombed our Navy and killed thousands of our brothers before we decided to drop the bombs (up until that point we had a peace treaty signed to stay out of the war).

People seem to forget that during the Yugo / Serb wars that there were over 100,000+ casualties.

People seem to forget that during WWII Hitler was taking over the world before we stepped up to the plate.

People seem to forget that the majority of the AID and Assistance in natural disasters and crisis comes from the United States.

People seem to forget that we donate and reach out to other countries in the form of industrializing, irrigation, disease prevention, more than any country in the world.

It's highly irritating to see these pictures of bombs being launched and talks of "Stocks" soaring through the roof. We don't start these fucking wars, we end them.

We don't invade countries for oil and for stock purposes. We have the most abundant land on the planet, with more natural resources than ANY other country. We have only 350 million people in the United States and we have the second-largest economy in the world to the EURO (over 550,000 people). Our taxes are lower than most developed nations, but we get the most kick backs, our people get assistance out the ass (too much in some cases), we give our money to the rest of the world and all you people want to do is complain.

One day there will come a time, and your wish will come true. Maybe we won't stop the blood shed in your backyard and your Mothers, Fathers, Brothers and Sisters will die before your eyes because you didn't want to be humble enough to ask for help from a nation that could end your suffering.

People are used to getting things for free and seeing this flag, it's been taken for granted. I say we pull the damn G20 summit out of Russia, move the UN out of New York, and resign ourselves from the rest of the world. Because nobody appreciates a damn thing anymore.

Then you all can live in fear with no one and nothing to stop China or Russia from taking over whatever they want. From taking Japans lands, from taking Georgia and moving outward.

TO the Ungrateful.

Oh is that all? Only 3 trillion?

I was referring to the UK there, and to my knowledge the situation is the similar in the US.

Leaked documents about CIA covert operations say otherwise.

Russia has about 67% more money worth of natural resources than the United States has. Russia didn't invade Georgia, they were helping the people of South Ossetia assert their independence from Georgia. U.S. didn't defeat hitler,Russia did the u.s. just helped them do it a little. D Day was only possible because of the Russian military defeating the German army so bad.

Neither side could have won without the other. We all know that.

The Russians did indeed wage massive all out war with the Germans. At the same time we provided them with massive food and supplies (ammunition, weaponry). We also primarily defeated Japan.

Russia weakened the Germans enough so that we could indeed come into Normandy a little easier (although not that easy at all) than would have been if Russia had been taken over.

Without Russia, without the United States and some of the other allies, there would have been no victory. It was the offensive on the Allies behalf on MULTIPLE boarders that stretched the German army thin, not one front, but two.

-----

Russia does not have more natural resources. The statistics that you read on the United States not ranking in the top 10 for oil is ridiculous. We have the world's largest oil reserves, but we don't claim them (Yes much much more than Saudi Arabia). Also, the statistics you are referring to haven't been updated in over 2 years, so all of our Shale & Hydraulic Fracturing isn't even a thought.

Russia free all countries east of Germany, including Germany (Berlin).

People seem to forget that during the Yugo / Serb wars that there were over 100,000+ casualties.

100.000+ casualties on all 3 sides. And you attacked only Serbia.

People seem to forget that the Syrian government has been killing it's own people 100,000+ casualties and counting.

Syrian gov? Terrorists didn't kill any civilian?

People seem to forget that we lost 3,000 lives in 2001 which was why we went into Iraq and Afghanistan.

Why didn't you attack Saudi Arabia? They fund all terrorist organization in the world.

People seem to forget that in Vietnam North Korea invaded the whole of South Korea.

Countries like USA, China, Russia, Japan created these two countries. They are the same people, but you (and other countries) created South and North Korea, because everyone wants their position. If there was only one country Korea, then they would have only one allie USA (Nato) or Russia, China..

We don't invade countries for oil and for stock purposes. We have the most abundant land on the planet, with more natural resources than ANY other country.

Hahaha. :) Then why did you attack Libya? Please check this thread, to see what Gaddafi did for his people. Also Russia have the most natural resources.

We don't start these fucking wars, we end them.

Yup, you are right about this, but only temporarily.

Without Russia, without the United States and some of the other allies, there would have been no victory.

What about WWI? Without little Serbia, you would speak German language today. Population was less than 3.000.000 before a war, and during a war we had more than 1.300.000 casualties. Can you imagine it? Almost all men. We won the first two battles in the war against more stronger enemy. About WWII I will not talk now, but we had a lot of more casualties than in WWI. Those who you were defending the 90s, killed more than 700.000 Serbs in WWII (even we free them in WWI).

Like war in Afghan and Iraq? When do you stop them, actually? You are there for like 10 years, killed more than a million people, invaded country under excuse they have weapon of mass destruction. So, when do you finish the war? When is this war, ''eye for an eye'', for 3000 people, going to end? Because you are ending them, right?

Btw, complain about your irritation to one million + people, US soldiers killed in foreign country, Iraq...
It could work, you know.

Imagine, keeping a peace with Tomahawks, F16s, and drones. Fucking hilarious. Lets just bomb the whole fucking world, until everyone is dead. Peace is guaranteed. Why waiting, it will work 100%.
