linux server monitoring and managment

Hi All,
just wondering what everyone is using for linux based monitoring.

Ivew started with PRTG and it looks really good. is there a free option that is easy to setup? I know PRTG has a number of free 'senors' but this is limited.

also anyone know of good system to replicate config changes across servers?
