Simple question do you like your country government?

For me, I don't like it because the Prime Minister of Canada does not know how to spend money. We were in surplus before he came now we are in deficit. We were in surplus when the us crises hit us as Canada is also depended on USA. He was elected in 2011, he is also supporting Israel, creating new fighter plans when majority of Canadians does not support war. He is right wing taking rights away from natives who found Canada. I just hope a better prime minister will be elected in future, Hopefully Liberal or NDP.

For me being in India, I don't think Indian government is doing any good either. Well, India is till a developing country & some parts of the region are pretty well developed. But there are problems everywhere in the world, So it doesn't makes much difference.
Well, Corruption level is certainly going down now. But, the level of crime in few cities is Increasing. I have seen government trying to control the situation, I see more officers & check-posts nowadays for increase in Security.

But i think that money distribution is not properly done in India either, like cvrle77 showed the video depicting about USA money distribution. Even the education system is old which should be updated.
The rules are still the same as they were before & slight amendments are being made every couple of years, But they are of not much of a help either.

Politicians & Government workers only want to fill their own pockets first, so the development is Slow, way slower than what it should be. Let's see what the future is after the Next National Elections.

No, see reasons below:

  • Corruption
  • Aged ******** ruling the country
  • Really bad security for women in quite some parts of the nation
  • Age old laws
  • The government thinks 3G is the new big thing :|
  • All political parties are the same - cashwhores
  • etc etc etc etc

I really doubt anyone likes their government. After all, every single one of them just look for ways to feed off the people who elect them.

No, Corruption is the reason. Corruption in india is everywhere :|, Not at all safe for girls(Specially in delhi-Capital). Political parties are doing nothing but to scam people. Political parties cannot be changed before a time period of 5 years. :|. Very bad education system. The deserving candidate didn't get anything.
But the only reason why i hate our goverment because of corruption, Daily when i read newspaper there always a news about scams and frauds. though congress is good because internally it keeps india strong.

Actually, I have a mixed opinion.
Surely the Indian government is not very good due to corruption mainly but most of their good work goes unnoticed and has little or no appreciation at all.
India attained independence a mere 65-66 years ago and considering the amount of progress they have made in these years is truly respectable.
Well, of course only the government is not responsible for this progress but some credits should also be given to them.

And coming to education system, we had a chapter in our English text book last year 'Is creativity suppressed by knowledge?' by Sophia Skoufaki. Here, the debate was 'American education system v/s Indonesian'. Indonesian and Indian education system is kind of similar and I was kind of convinced with the Indonesian one which of course has some drawbacks but its a tad better than the other one.

Then there of course is corruption which I don't really need to talk about.

And also one thing to be noted is that corruption is not a new thing. Its just that its coming to light. What I mean is that due to the ever growing strong media, corrupt officials are being caught and the news is made known to the public.

Liking government is liking being enslaved. I don't think anyone likes that. And anyone saying he's free, is delusional.

The USA is becoming more Fascist every day.
World wide we need to come together as a group of like minded people.

All governments are thieves, liars, hypocrites.

A short video which accurately shows the basics metaphorically:

Until u r not in Rule,no matter by whom ur country governed or how much love in u about ur country,so I at least love my self-family-love-friends

I am from Pakistan, i hate my government because of them my Country is hatred by you.
No security for the citizens than how can you expect for outsiders/visitors.
Killing Mafia on their boom, they kill for money.
Political parties have their own gangs.
Corruption everywhere, from lower level to higher.

Lastly here on WJ i want to make you realize specially Indians, We have a lot of love for you (we watch your movies, dramas etc but just because of our fucking government & media you are not able to see it.

You guys are far more lucky than us.

I certainly don't like my Government.
Mainly due to corruption and the kind of facilities they provide to us.
All the Governments launch some or other ambitious projects (like Aadhar card in India), but all of those are some or the other way of making money. When a different party wins the elections, the scrap of those projects and launch their ones and again theirs are scrapped off.

The truth is that each and every government today is corrupt but there's still a difference. Some eat and work and eat and doze. The latter is the issue in India. Even though they take out money, they don't provide good facilities. Billions of rupees are spent on roads every year and still we have these filthy roads where potholes are born on the very first rain of the monsoon.
Atleast in countries like US they are providing facilities!

Let me say something about how Elections work:

You want to become a candidate for Presidency.
You extort money or take bribes out of rich and help poor to gain their trust.
This helps you earn reputation(of course the extortion part never becomes public).
You become popular
Political parties put you on the banner to assure the people they will be choosing the right Government.
But then campaigning for elections and buying votes requires money... for that you take bribes, extort, or simply borrow.
When you eventually become the President/Prime minister, you need to pay back to the lenders and for that where do you get the money from..???
Answer: More bribes, more extortions, more scandals because no one will simply spend their personal money to get to this level.

If a common man who actually wishes a change for the nation, he can unfortunately never accomplish his dreams because to get to that level, he has to take the wrong path.

What the buzz about Narendra Modi is that he may be corrupt, but he still gets the job done. He has developed the state of Gujrat in India significantly, improved infrastructure, education, healthcare, etc. No wonder he's anticipated as the next Prime Minister of India.

On the other hands, countries like UAE and Saudi Arabia are very lucky for being under the Monarchy rule but if one day a wrong leader is crowned, then the nation will fall as the people will have no way to elect a different Government and then Iran and Iraq will happen all over again and these countries will forever face civil war.

Gist: Atleast do the job if you are going to be corrupt rather then just doze.

As a British citezen, I feel safe in my own home. However, I feel the economy could be far better than it is as of now. I support the decisions of my government as I have to live with them, however, their decisions as a millitary unit (In Afghanistan, Mali and such) are highly questionable.
