I have realized that a lot of warez forums also have security/hacking section that clearly show people how to setup and maintain trojan server, crypt and bind malware to an executable (Installer, Keygen, etc), and everything else.
This makes me wonder what kind of shit is attached to stuff that I have downloaded in the past (I don't download applications anymore...).
What are your views and opinions on this?

Totally true. Most forums tell you how to make the file FUD (Fully Undetectable).
And they absolutely don't think about the fact that some members will put their shit onto the forums.

I only have 1 program that I have installed which is warez and that is Photoshop CS3 only after I scanned it with 20+ AV's (Virustotal) and sniffed the packets to see if it was sending logs to any sites, my AV is legit and I always use free and open source alternatives whenever possible.

This is my advice to people who download apps regularly; stop, your putting yourself at risk from getting your bank, paypal, and other accounts hacked. Its getting easier for people to make viruses FUD, there are even programs that do it automatically.

I just download the free trials and google search for serials to activate. Sometimes if there isn't a working serial, I find a tutorial on how to manually patch it in the registry editor or something of the sort.

I also have a friend that is a pro at patching apps. You throw him an app, and he makes a patch for it in about 20 minutes. So if I can't figure out how to patch an app of some sort, he'll patch it for me. :)

Is there a warez app for the iPhone? :D

^^This is on topic since the thread title is "Do you download warez apps". Well...if there's one for the iPhone then I will start. ;D

Smartass ftw?

I hardly ever download apps... The number of stealers/rats/downloaders/bullshit roaming around is amazing lol. and if I ever do need an app, I'll install the app (after checking for any binded shit) and run the keygen in a VM, Just to be safe. xD

I run warez apps on Linux. If I really need a program on Windoze I test on on Linux first and if deemed safe after some inspecting I install it on Windoze. AV software is no solution because it either flags safe software as being a trojan or it doesn't detect an actual virus/trojan.

Generally: Windows + warez + executable =
