RG one of the best host now. but now rg on trouble. very bad news for uploaders.

1. There is no legal possibility in most countries to block a domain name.
2. Where it is possible there are many workarounds. ThePirateBay is blocked in all countries where it is possible to block access to a domain, but they still are the most popular file sharing site in the world and several proxies grant access to it
So as long as RG processes DMCA requests properly they will survive without any problem. Even if they don't they can survive in particular hosting facilities (but this is more expensive, especially with the traffic a filehost generates).
Still: The largest problem for any filehost is still payment processing. We have seen the troubles with PP already... But VISA / MC are also generating pressure on any payment provider who processes for filesharing sites. Other options like Webmoney, Bitcoin, Liberty Reserve or others are NO option since the majority of users is not able to use it :facepalm:
