Every game developing company has game testers but is quite hard to get into them. You don't necessarily need a degree but is better. But dont think you just play the game and get paid, you have to look for bugs,etc,etc,etc
 
Hey this is an interesting topic, a friend of mine is working on a channel, its not doing that great yet, and i keep giving her ways to improve her commentary but she dont listen lol... anyway about the 'Networks' like Maker Studios and stuff, i have heard good and bad things about these studios, be careful with the contracts they want you to sign when affiliating with them first of all, most times you give up ALL rights to your content to them. And as for smaller channels its just not worth signing up with them, especially with Youtube initiating premium adsense ads for all partners and not just the Networks, chances are you would be better off just starting your own channel, getting views, then applying to be a Youtube Partner here > http://www.youtube.com /yt/ partners/ (remove spaces)< i say screw all the Networks just trying to screw you out of your hard work. Do it yourself! I am not sure if youtube has started allowing premium ads for regular partners yet, but i do know its coming! It will be a bit more work in self promotion without Maker or other affil, but we all know how that is.

As for the commentor saying how stupid this topic is, if you can become a good youtuber you can make an assload of money as a Youtube Partner (yes even without the Networks, plenty do well without them as well).

THere are the obvious big ones like PewDiePie and Tobuscus, both ONLY making Lets Play videos with commentary on Youtube.

I'm going to tell you a way to make money relatively quickly by playing games online.

1) Go and sign up: (use my link to start with 10,000 points)

2) Play games, the more you play, the more you earn.

3) Refer people; the more you refer, the more you get. Also, the people they refer also makes you money!

Referrals get you 20,000 points.
200,000 points gets you $20.
Refer 10 people and you've already got $20 ...Not including playing games

Anybody referred by people you refer gets you 10,000 points.

You must play a minimum amount of game time to cashout (which isn't hard, you can just leave it running)

And your referrals must play through a certain amount of time (around 20-30 minutes) before you receive bonus credits.

The Games are really fun too!
