Seeing so much people are earning motivates me for 10-15 mins.. after that. I feel like.. screw it I am never gonna make it

Is your personal site gonna make you more money or the General forums like warezbb, bayw etc.

Yes, you should stick with few, top forums. If you see results (even small like few downloads regardless if you are on ppd or pps - it will show you if you are able to generate anything from it), go with it. Update your threads everyday, few times per day if possible. People will get know you better and you will gain some visitors who will be visiting your threads everyday.
I haven't had my own site, so I am not entitled to advise you anything, but from my friends' experience, it's worth a penny as long as you get traffic and most importantly, your site will be kindly for visitor.
There are many ways to earn, some forums are good for amateur, some for niches, some for new, fresh content, some for everything, some for adult pictures, some for celebrities etc

maybe there is another thing that does like you. Keep looking mate ! That's the point that nothing is for everybody. Each person is good at something different.
I can't make sales, but I am good at PPD. Others are good at PPS, but not at PPD. Others are good at PPD and PPS, and some at none of those things.

Not really true, you cant stick with only 1 or 2 niches. i had several niches that worked very well for me, but then no sales anymore from these niches .You have to change niches quite often otherwise your earning will just drop slowly to 0 if you stuck to only very few niches (at least if you are on pps, maybe its different with ppd, never tried).
Sales don't like me...
Change for ppd , people focalized too much on sales, but it is possible to make a lot with ppd too.
I see so many afifliates with elite account and they barely have 5-7 sales weekly (some only have 2-3 sales if they are lucky), thats just stupid, you could probably made more with download.
