one question about adding bank account:

I have a USA bank account but the name does not match with my AlertPay account.

example:

name on my AlertPay account: William Henry Gates III
on the USA bank account: William Gates III

if I add the bank account name with: Willian Gates III i can withdraw money or not?

my country is not USA but I have a USA bank account but the name does not match with AlertPay

no it isnt. "go ask somebody else" is not an answer.

He never said Microsoft sells their product using Alertpay, nor it is stated on their site. It just states that Microsoft is their customer.

He also said thet he is not familiar in which way Microsoft uses Alertpay, and he asked you to contact Microsoft if you need more info about it, or want to know how to buy Microsoft product.

They are not making enquiry how you use Alertpay do they? All of parties have their right for privacy.
If he goes out there asking how to buy MS products, I doubt you would be really interested in buying any MS product as you only want to say they are lying.

That's exactly what I want to do, because microsoft do not use their services. Just because some random microsoft employee has an alertpay account, it does not give you warrant to market the fact that Microsoft use your services. Doing so would be false advertising. The only way you can legally state that "Microsoft uses AlertPay" - which the website states - is if Microsoft as a company uses AlertPay as a payment gateway - which it doesn't. The same is also true if third party companies sell Microsoft products. It still does not warrant stating that "Microsoft uses AlertPay" - because Microsoft does not, the third-party company does, in which case you would advertise the fact that the third party uses AlertPay. There are laws against doing so. You can't just state it when in fact it is not true at all.

@AlertPay Team, I withdrew my money to my Bank account, but I received $5 less.

The fee for my country is $15:

I withdrew $*00 and today I received $*80. They are $5 missing. I know it's little, but that should not be.

Please, explain me why.

I will send you a PM with details.

@tigrelider

That 3$ was charged by your bank, alertpay only charges 15$ for the transfer. Any additional amount apart from the 15$ is charged based on the policy of your country or bank.

Hello I am from Serbia and I have one question. I want to withdraw my money by bank wire. If i understood your fee is 15$ and fee from banks from Serbia is 0,3% (i have checked at my bank), is there any additional fees except these two?

Thank you.

Hi Sonic,

You can add international banks to your AlertPay account, that is not a problem. Also, with the example you have provided, there would not be a problem as we can see you're are likely the owner of the account. If the name was completely different and you are clearly not the owner of the account, this is where you may run into problems.

Thanks

Pls answer me @ Alertpay Team

Hi sumitims,

What I believe you are talking about is called an 'intermediary bank'. Unfortunately I can't tell you which Indian banks do not use intermediary banks, as we don't have access to a list. You will need to research this yourself.

Thanks

Hi CloudShadow,

All our fees can be seen on our website. You can follow this link: https://www.alertpay.com/en/fees.aspx

In your scenario, you may also encounter a currency conversion fee. (If applicable)

Thanks

Hi cowboyup910,

There is a AlertPay PrePaid card, however it isn't available to all our members yet as it is still being trialed. For members in the US, we are aware you are unable to withdraw to your bank account due to a temporary issue and are offering Check Withdrawal and have waived the fee.
For updates regarding the Prepaid card, you can follow this link to our blog: http://blog.alertpay.com/2010/12/soft-release-of-alertpay-branded-debit.html

Hi sumitims,

Bank wire withdrawal's do require account verification, no matter which type of AlertPay account you have. Bank Transfer deposits/withdrawals and bank wire deposits can be processed without having a verified account.

Thanks

So can alertpay verification be done with virtual credit card as i do not have credit card and in india check withdrawl is not provided and i do not want to do bank deposit to verify as alertpay will waive a fees which is waste of my money .... Secondly is it necessary that the credit card is on my name for my account to get verified , example can i use my family or friend credit card to verify as i don have credit card . And is credit card verification problem people were having is solved ?????

Hi sumitims,

As long are the credit card - whether virtual or not can be used for online and international payments, and you have access to a statement or a transaction history then it can be used for verification.

I'd just like to clear up that the verification bank wire deposit you do will have no fees from AlertPay. We remove the regular $15 fee because we want to encourage members to verify their accounts.

Thanks

Hello Alertpay,

My USA bank account only accepts ACH deposits, so when bank transfer will work again?

Hi Sonic,

Along with our Visa and MasterCard issue, we cannot offer you a time frame for when US Bank Transfers will be available. But here is the link to the blog which I recommend you check for updates: http://blog.alertpay.com/2011/11/status-update-us-bank-transfer-service.html

While it says "for US members", as you have a US bank account, this applies for you as well.

Thanks
-Luke
