[Discussion] Wupload == Filesonic

Alright Guys ,

There have been numerous rumors that Wupload & Filesonic are owned by the same company. Well nobody really cared as long as both were doing fine but now with the Wupload crisis - I guess its time to verify whether those rumors are valid or not .

If anyone has any ''proofs'' that Wupload is affiliated with Filesonic in any way , post it below .


Please keep trolling to a minimum and no bashing WU/FSC without any ''proofs'' else i'll request this topic to be deleted .

There has been some speculation by an Ex Super-moderator a while back that Hish = Willy ,
Well its been verified by atleast 2 Mod/S.Mod today that their IP matches + the system was flagged that Filesonic Hish was Using Multiple Accounts i.e Willy Wupload

Its a bit extreme but that's what the logs show.

Well this topic might have gone a bit out of hand - will ask a MOD to clean some posts later on .

It was created to determine whether the rumors that Wupload & Filesonic was part of the same company ( that has already been established ) ,

Like Fileserve > Uploadstation > Filejungle etc....

the other part that Willy Wupload = Filesonic Hish only came up later on - Well i'm still waiting for the mods to get permission to repost the proof but nyway doesn't really matter .


* This topic was not created in any way to Bash Filesonic / Wupload / Hish / Willy - just to verify a widely spread rumor that Filesonic = Wupload that's all

Yep i'm aware of that - a few other users reported this redirect issue

A server expert may be able to comment on how this happened . My guess it was a DNS issue or server misconfiguration if both sites were hosted on the same server.

Well both Willy & Hish claims that Wupload & Filesonic are NOT affiliated with each other so.....

Anyway i just want to know the truth as if those rumors are valid - its highly possible that filesonic might do the same thing in the future.

of course they don't admit it ,but everyone knows they are owned by same one,i have see more than once wu redirect to fsc
 
Also remote upload fro WU to FS was instant, you just add FS links on WU and click on Remote Upload, Poof, it was done, within a second, that means they got something that just mirrors the item from the servers.
 
I "suspect" that they are the same person (that is only a suspicion and not an accusation before anybody starts).

it is possible that wupload==filesonic==wjunction owner are same maybe thats y they closed katz.cd to maintain legal sites maybe they thought they could get in trouble if they are related to warez site.. look at the ad on wjunction am just assuming if wupload==filesonic then maybe wupload==filesonic==wjunction owner

WJ has nothing to do with FS/WU other then buying ads. But good story :)
 
LoL i doubt Wjunction is owned by Filesonic/Wupload else there wouldn't have been any other Filehosts support available here .

I guess they just paid a lot for advertisements + sticky topics etc....

Filesonic was there before katz closed
 
u never know mate anything is possible everyone hides what they do everyone likes to be anonymous specially if u are related to warez!!!

This FileHost does not want to continue affiliate anymore; There is nothing we can do but accept that.

What happened to megaupload after canceling its affiliate program ? they scammed anyone ? stole something from anyone ? ofcourse not.

If you just believed on wupload for its payments leave it and let others do what they want to do.
 
Hmm that's not really what's being discussed here . Its about the rumors that Wupload + Filesonic are the same company tho it has some significance :

if those rumors are valid - its highly possible that filesonic might do the same thing in the future.
