making money with uploading isnt for every1 .. remember when the uploading files were without money earning and everythink was ok.
so you should better go to a classic work :))

I think the best solution is to limit the number of files that we can remote upload at the same time? 20 maybe?

so for example, if there's 15 files pending / processing on remote upload page (not processing/reviewing in video manager page), we can only add 5 more, else the system will reject.

I think it's fair for everyone. ;)
 
Yeah, this is better for everyone, fair enough.. Even it's only for those who not reach $200 yet. for those who make more than $200 they can have unlimited Remote uploading or somethig else. :)

This is a fair solution..im with VBB from the start and the last few months it seems people have abused the remote upload system which is effecting long term uploaders and not users who just joined the band wagon to be cool...

I want to make money from this as long as its possible as are other long term uploaders with VBB..Yes im in for the fun too..but earnings trumps that for me..

New users should be allowed 10 remote uploads per day until they earn 200 dollars and long term users should be ok then

We will be deploying limitation tomorrow for remote upload for all users until we can figure how to differentiate between "old timers" and "new comers".

I think you shoudl limit guys that have low traffic on videos, I know few guys that have about 100 - 200 videos and they cant earn with this movies a 20$ :facepalm: Those guys abusing servers because they dont give you good traffic and they eat a lot of resources.

Good call Dave..This should speed things up nicely and separate the oldies from the newbies..im with VBB over 9 months now and have stuck with them plainly because they dont bullsh&t people and pay each week...
 
For now we will allow up to 50 videos per users to process. This should let you guys remote your files quietly, effectively and convert them in the same manner.

Limitations need to be put on in order to sustain a status quo that everyone gets their videos processed and converted in timely fashion and not clot up the queue for everyone.

The person involved in the weekend's bombardment has been served a warning. Further abuse will lead to a ban.

We will be working on how to "whitelist" some users to allow them to upload more than 50 videos at a time.

PS. Who uploads 5000 videos at a time?

5000 videos at a time ???? if he do it again u should ban his ip not just his account
 
Acting before thinking would be a good way to explain such mindless actions.

We will be deploying limitations in approximately 5 hours. This should hopefully put an end to all the "processing" complaints we've received.
