[WP] Permalinks and sub domain

Hi,
I have a new sub domain I wanted to use for a little blog:
tech.platinumw.org

Problem is, when I want to read a topic, it takes me to
http://tech.platinumw.org/welcome-to-the-tech-blog

which of course doesn't work because there is no such file in my public_html.

Any idea how to fix it?
Tried a lot, nothing.

try:

wp-admin > settings > permalinks > use this permalink: /%postname%

there doesnt need to be a file in your public_html for the blog post to show.

Check if the .htaccess file that handles the rewrite rules actually exists in that folder.
