you can't switch to IPB. All of the links indexed in google will 404, because it will be an almost impossible task to get them to mod-rewrite properly with the new completely different system. That reason alone is reason enough to give up on IPB.

Leave it on VB3 tbh. VB4 brings nothing that cant already be coded. Other changes are negligible or insignificant.
 
Now hear this! IPB is not happening! Any posts in this thread about IPB will be removed!

Stay here with this VB. Don't upgrade it to VB4+. New Vb sucks in everything. I don't like the new VB Design. Old VB3 is so much better and i have seen many many sites using old vb and they haven't updated it yet.

Vbulletin 3 is really attractive in design and it has something which always attract us(visitors) visiting the site again and again..

@suhel he is entitled to voice his opinion just as much as anyone else.

No one denied you the chance to speak.
 
That is his opinion, that vb4 is bullshit and I half agree with him.

I use it on 1 site of mine because I had to pay to get a valid copy above 3.6 and I figured if I had to pay for it I may as well try the latest.
 
if a move to ipb is not plausible, i vote yes for an upgrade to 4.2


Do I need to start giving infractions, no more ipb talk in this thread
