Windows, Mac or Linux?

So I've had enough of windows and decided to see what you lot prefer.

I myself have used Windows. (Loved It until the last few months.)
I've used Ubuntu/Redhat/Mandriva myself, never tried apple stuff but microsucks is forcing my hand here.

So yeah vote away/discuss away.

Headless debian (headless = no GUI, just a terminal).

Why? Because it owns and nobody needs a GUI, terminals for life.

I'd still prefer Windows over anything.

You have wide range of applications & games and its somewhat easy to use rather than Desktop versions of Ubuntu & Linux.

Windows for a computer I use / Work computer etc.

Linux for servers.

Since I can't vote for both... I'll vote for Mac -_-

Been using linux for a good 5 years now suits me needs perfectly only use windows in virtualbox for photoshop its fast stable free

Since all it does is f**kup these days. This poll only came about because I just had issues with updating skype.

I hit upgrade and it removed the whole program, Then I tried to reinstall and it said I had lack of perms. Like impossible since im admin.


In the end I had to mod the registry to allow it to update and reinstall.
That's just one example of issues i've had with it lately.

Linux is a nice switch imho. I started with Ubuntu when 6.04 LTS was released and have been using it since. Its a great distro that tends to make the transition smoother. The only thing that Linux lacks on is games (no biggie for me since I rarely play games).

Give linux a go, you'll feel the bliss of a virus free world with an OOB Office Suite and No Internet Explorer >.>

a year ago, i would have said Windows. But, now its MAC OSX which rules...

I prefer Windows.. Easy, User friendly, lots of customization, games.

Also like MAC, but very less amount of games.. Sad!
