Why is FileSonic download speed slow?

I've used megaupload and fileserve(fk i hate this) and both their download speed is 2mb/sec for me..but filesonic is 100-200kb/sec?(for single file)

It depends mostly on where your files are stored - either their servers in the USA or NL.

You are absolutely right. Filesonic is vey very slow..

I also have never had a speed over 100k with Filesonic downloading to a remote server on a 1Gbit connection from the USA and Canada.... slow slow slow.

However it's a very stable service, easy to use for downloaders; so it all pans out I think.

problem is not speed for me , can get 500 kbyte/sec (max speed of with my 4 mbit connection), problem is down servers
