This one isn't perfect but it's pretty cool and checks 200 pages on your site not just one.
Most importantly it tells you want to do and how you can improve your site so check it out and then show your score

The original topic is annoying me as the tool everyone is using is incredibly poor and what's worse I saw someone giving a review of a SEO service based on it.

I don't think he was trying to insult your thread, I think he was insulting the website used in your thread more,

Top one is a site I spent a lot of time SEO'ing using vbSEO and the bottom one is basically bog standard IPB board with a sitemap installed and their own in-built rewrite rules.

Exactly Sp32. The link in your thread just checked for example if a robots.txt existed but didn't check if it was valid, same for the sitemap. Anyway you don't have to fill in all the info just click Go to next step

And you don't have to pay. It will give you the info and data of your site.
