Whats a Data Line ?

-.- Anyone know what's a data line ? An old boss of mine wants me to set up a data line for an office he just renovated. Said he has a data line he needs installing and that it's a cable connection or w/e. Anyone know how to install a data line or know what it is without using google ?

Why would you not want someone to use google?
An individual circuit that transmits data within a communications or computer channel
Thats what a data line is btw
