Hi All,

My VPS was suspended for a reason that it is causing high load to the server.

Can anybody please explain why? Do I really need to be suspended for this reason. Thanks very much for any help.

I got this message from the web host

Your vps has been temporarily disabled due to causing high load which in turn caused the high load to the server node. Find the log details below for your reference:

How can you expect us to give you valuable information with so little data
Show your apache & Mysql configuration
What kind of script you run on your server?
Is this behaviour recent ?
Have you suffered from DDos attacks lately?
.....i could go on and on:P
 
Sorry if I am not able to provide additional information. All I thought I have given enough.

Here is my server configuration:
Dedicated RAID-10 Disk Space : 30 GB
Dedicated Monthly Bandwidth : 300GB
Dedicated DDR3 RAM :256 mb
Burstable DDR3 RAM : 512mb
Shared CPU : x4 3.00+Ghz
SolusVM Control Panel
CentOS 5 - 64Bit
Apache
MySQL
LXAdmin

This is the first time that it happen. I am not aware of any DDOS.

Add more ram (1gb minimum)
Tell me your apache configuration (Start servers , MinSpareServers ,MaxRequestsPerChild, MaxSpareServers , ServerLimit and MaxClients values)

You're pushing your limits with such a small server, you should get a bigger one if you have that much members.
 
Any suggestions for server specs to cater for this forum?

I can't afford an expensive server because I am paying the server cost from my personal money.

Upgrading will help your vps.
with only half a ram is not really a great idea. Maybe anything from 1GB-2GB would be fine.
