1) and 2) the extremely dangerous was meant in connection with the webinterface security issue. And this was extremely dangerous.

3) Afaik a single process/thread cannot be split among diffrent cores through vmware. This means an single Process/thread runs a lot faster on an intel machine.
My application is single threaded and benefit from intel aesni.

Your support told me that they will move my vps to an intel machine and will install an current version of (english) debian x64.

btw. after i get my new vps details, i will review it too. (And possibly rent 9 more..)

Updated Review (now with Intel Processor):

Still old Version 6.0.4 in i386 (instead of 6.0.6 amd64), but it's now in english and i can upgrade to 6.0.6 (still i386 but okay..).

Like expected, CPU much faster, but node is obvisiously oversold and network is quiet bad

The server and his network are not oversold, but all our debian and centos are on our Opteron server with 10Gbps connection.

And our XEON server had only 1Gbps connection.

I'm sorry. But at my definition an full utilized / overloaded connection means oversold.

1,85 MB/s (France <-> France) at 1000mbit Connection (125 MB/s) is not that fast.

But personaly i don't care, my application is uses multi connections and will archive higher speeds.

Btw. allowing to install his own iso is a MASSIVE feature (for what you can charge) ;)

You have to activate yourself windows.

We don't supply windows activation, and you don't pay for it when you purchase a VPS ;)
 
Me too, my VPS can't connect via RDP, I opened ticket from yesterday but today I still receive any answer...I have many things to do but can't login VPS...OMG

did not have much time yet but, support helped me even on Saturday (that's good)

i have other windows vps on OVH so i already know the servers :) the machine is fast for now (it depends on the number of vm's)

windows activated for 180 so i'm waitind a reply for my question if windows license is included or not.

maybe today i'll install a couple of seo tools and let them run and see.
 
review update:
after 5 days of using it, i've already installed a couple of seo tools and made a couple of campaigns with it. still online and running smoothly.

Still need to know if the windows license will still be included after the 180 days With the price it has for now.

Good price in a good datacenter. My main doubt is, will they stay for the long term?
