Hi Guys,

I offer free vBulletin Support for vBulletin 3x & 4x and this support
is given on a first come first serve basis and this is only support
for Modifications & Skins - This does not include any custom work
of any sort and any Paid work will not be under taken.

What i require if you want vBulletin Support:
access to your adminCP & cPanel via Teamviewer

I do all work via Teamviewer which is also recorded for my
protection and your's so that you can not blame me for any
problems with your site or say i stole your DB ect... or any BS
like that therefore i will only work via Teamviewer and if your
net connection is slow well... Tough luck i cant help.

If you still don't trust me well, i don't really care - don't ask me for help.

Please have a look through this thread for the reviews by other members
whom i have helped fix their problems & errors.

For fast support please visit: http://intovb.com/
If i have helped you i expect a review in this thread
and if your kind enough on my site also:
http://intovb.com/vbulletin-support-reviews/

When posting your problem please include everything possible
so that i can give you a quick diagnosis and respond asap
and please do not PM me regarding this thread i check it on
a daily basis so please be patient!

Disclaimer:
It is your responsibility to make a backup prior to my support
and if i mess anything up i will help you restore your backup.
I only work with cPanel as it is the easiest to work around.
If you want me to install loads of modifications you can go
to the marketplace and make a thread, if the job is boring
and/or taking the piss i will refuse it.

You could hire someone to port the theme over which people
usually charge $20 - $40 but i don't do custom template edits or
theme's, sorry for that.

How to convert SMF forum to vBulletin using impex?
ive read impex but i cant understand how it works..

can you summarize the impex instructions?

install vb into a new db...
leave the old smf db alone...
run impex on vb and import smf db into the new vb db (its run through the acp)

exactly delete the smf file (not the smf db) as the smf db will be the source....
Then install vb like normal and once it is all setup use impex to import from smf db as source

Another question..
Im making a "premium only area" on my forum..
I have forum category that are only exclusive for premium members..

How can I make it that if "non-premium" member visited the forum category,
a vbulletin message will appear that he doesnt have enough permission to access that category..(i also want to add my custom code on that message)

I tried to set the usergroup permission but it only hides the thread topics and not display a vbulletin message that they must be premium.

thanks!

I just finished another super helpful teamviewer session with iHate and he's soooo amazing and helpful! This thread and his assistance has helped me so much.

Thanks again x1,000,000 iHate <3

iHate helped me with a mod issue i had with resizing the images on VB, it was very fast as well. I posted a topic about it and i got a response in a couple of minutes, then he got on teamviewer with me and he fixed the problem for me in no time! If he was paid service i would buy his service :D

iHate...I need your help again!!!!!!! lol - I cant figure out how to add a button to my nav bar. Not a drop down one, but a plain one that can be linked to my blog. Your assistance is greatly appreciated (sun)

@ Mindy - Visit this link;
Code:
https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php/108961-How-To-Add-A-Link-To-The-Navbar

@ tractor 2321 - Under the user permissions you should be able to set it so as the forum in question does not even appear then in your subscription settings say what sort of things they get access to or something along those lines.

@ iHate - after all the help you have given me dude I thought the least I could do was help you out (y) sorry about the semi hijack so to speak :(

JGM.

Not a problem (y)

EDIT - Sorry I obviously didn't read your reply properly :( the "linked text" is the bit which would show up on your navbar (in this instance). It is like using the URL tags in forums like so

[noparse]wJunction[/noparse]

The text "wJunction" is the "linked text" you would see for the link so in the above example it would look and behave like so;

wJunction

The link I provided you with does the exact same thing but instead of using BB code it used HTML instead :)
