But why not just make it bytes regardless of speed. (Like on any other sites)

why are you guys so stuck on me making UMB like every other xfs piece of crap? I'm not making an xfs clone. And I think the speed displayed is fine.

Current speed: 1.31 Mbit/s
Time remaining: 00:00:12

from my home computer. What exactly is wrong with that?

"An Error Was Encountered

The action you have requested is not allowed."

Why?

Looks to me like 'it's not allowed'?
Sorry, I really can't answer a question which is so vague. Can you respond with what you were trying to do when you got this message?

Well, when uploading from a remote box, it's much easier to see exactly how fast it's sending compared to ftp or anything else instead of having to mentally divide the number by 8.

I guess the days of doing math in your head or with a piece of paper and a pencil are long gone.

Can anyone do simple math without a calculator or computer any more?

You Should Change The Filemanager, Like Subfolder Option And All Files In One Folder, Not Like 20/50 or 100

We're working on sub folders. But we took out all files in one folder because some users only use one folder, and load 100,000 files in it, and this takes forever to load in their browser.

Why can't I remote upload a link like this:
http://199.91.152.155/brxszrmevzdg/lzsqcuxuil4dpd9/Berlioz_Sym_Fantasique.rar
Code:
http://199.91.152.155/brxszrmevzdg/lzsqcuxuil4dpd9/Berlioz_Sym_Fantasique.rar
At least for me it seems too be a direct download link.

moogie will you be soo kind to verity if it's also direct for you.

It's not direct, it redirects to:

Code:
http://www.mediafire.com/?lzsqcuxuil4dpd9
And then it redirects to a direct link which is only available to that session.

But if you enter the mediafire URL it will retrieve the file, only not with the original filename.
