Ohhh I found out why. Pornbb changes the case of BB codes.

Original Message Text posted to different forums by themaPoster:
PHP:

Download: Test

Same message AFTER it's posted to PornBB
PHP:

Download: Test

IMG changed img and B changed to b. URL and url are not changed.
vBulletin doesn't change anything. Everything is same as original. It's just PornBB.

I would like to make a suggestion for "searching" on posts.

As you can see in this screenshot, we can filter the post by the ID number of topic.
Then only are displayed the posts of this topic.

themaman-499ecc5.jpg

My suggestion is:

Would be possible you a add an extra field for searching (with text/numbers) only some posts with a same text in the message, but only from a specific topic?
I mean, a searching field to filter by text on posts of a topic.

For you understand better what I mean, for example...

Assuming that I have 1000 posts on topic "1928" and I want to found only 10 posts that have the word "bird" in the body of message.
Then I could fill the word "bird" in the extra field and it would search only in theposts of the topic "1928" for the posts that have the word "bird" in the message.

Would be possible you add this kind of searching option?

Hi,

that's already in suggestions on my own forum.

Will probably add in some update, just need to re-think it a bit.
Thanks!

Just for help your idea, this "searching" would work like "Search This Thread" option that we find on vBulletin forums.

search-thread-499f425.jpg

It's like a "sub searching" to find any word/number in the posts of a thread.

Maybe could work this way:

In a field we put the ID of topic and then appears a second field to put any word/number to select only the posts that have this same word/number.

Version 1.06 released.

Open (or wait a bit) 1.05 (or older) and press "Yes" when asked about the update to open the update page with all updating information.

v.1.06
 • Added case-insensitive search option for "replace text" window.
 • Added new search button for posts with ability to search in message text. Please note if you have a lot of posts the search in message might take some time because it will need to read the posts from files.
 • Improved loading new links from .txt to ignore empty lines if there are any.
 • Added new special search terms for posts list: "with dead links" and "without dead links".
 • Added new field for websites which needs user ID, by default "Find automatically" is always enabled. In very rare cases (less than 1%) it might find incorrect user ID and you might need to enter manually your user ID.
 • Added ability to load new links from .txt file in "Extracted links" window (same as in "Status" -> "Links table"). File format should be: http://old_url_file1.zip | http://new_url_file1.zip [new line] etc.. The separator can be changed in "Options" -> "Links". Or it can try to match by filename in the URL.
 • Fixed few small posts fetching problems.
 • Added "Topic fetch" support for phpBB 2.x type. Most of the times not needed, but some forums might not show in search results very old posts.
 • Improved Alexa rank number to be with comma for thousands for easier readability.
 • Added new setting in "Options" -> "Websites" to sort websites by Alexa rank.
 • Improved preview window not to use proxy for loading images (just not needed).
 • Added adjustable size panels.
 • Other small improvements and fixes.

Version 1.07 released.

Open (or wait a bit) 1.06 (or older) and press "Yes" when asked about the update to open the update page with all updating information.

v.1.07
 • Improved for low screen resolutions. The "POSTS" tab was almost unusable. Now much better.
 • Improved a bit background log in "STATUS" -> "Edits". Date is shown in bold for easier readability, scrolling was missing, latest at the top.
 • Removed few adjustable size panels. Was causing important issues with interface and in general not really needed.
 • Added new option for loading links from .txt file: "Load new links in chronological order as they appear in .txt file".

Any chance for better integration with themaPoster?
It would be nice if the dead links in scheduled posts and posts lists were automatically replaced.
I have different posting frequency and schedule for different forums because some of them have different daily posting limit.
So some files get posted first to forum A, then they get deleted. But the same posts are still scheduled for forum B.

Added after 1 Day:

I think there is a bug with "match new URL by filename" feature.

For example, if I have 4 dead links with same name but different extension:
www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.mp4
www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part1.rar
www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part2.rar
www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part3.rar

I hit "Replace Links Mode", Load new URL from txt, and choose match new URL by filename. (txt file contains ALL new links. Nothing is missing)
Sometimes rar parts are incorrectly replaced.
Dead link (www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.mp4) is matched with nothing.
Dead link (www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part1.rar) is matched with new URL (www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.mp4)

So the result after edit is like this:

www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.mp4 -------> Not replaced
www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part1.rar ---------> new URL (www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.mp4)
www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part2.rar ---------> new URL (www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part2.rar)
www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part3.rar ---------> new URL (www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part3.rar)

And it's not always exactly like this, sometimes .part2 doesn't get replaced, .part3 becomes .mp4 etc. It's weird and a little different everytime.
I think it is related to the order of the dead link in themaManager's interface. If part1 appears first, then it gets replaced with .mp4 and the dead link mp4 is replaced with nothing.
But I am not sure. I don't really want to try reproducing the bug. I will try to pay more attention next time I have to replace links.

Please look into this issue. I had to replace like 500+ links and I didn't know it was doing this until AFTER everything was edited by themaManager.
I had to manually edit everything for like 6 hours :(

Maybe add an option to ignore new link unless filename is 100% match?
Btw, the file names were kind of long when I had this bug.

Yea I just confirmed it has to do with the order of the dead links.

In ThemaManager's interface dead link order is like this:

www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part1.rar
www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part2.rar
www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part3.rar
www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.mp4

Then if I load new URL from txt with match by filename option.
It gets replaced like this.

www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part1.rar ------> www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.mp4
www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part2.rar ------> www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part2.rar
www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part3.rar ------> www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.part3.rar
www.filehost.com/abc_def_xyz.mp4 ------> Empty

Please fix asap!

Maybe in the future, but don't really see this as priority right now.

The links you're posting are usually (if not aways) new. The hosts doesn't delete the links in 3 months (90 days) usually.

I don't think anyone waits 90 days before posting them, since everyone wants to post it first.

Even if they did get deleted, themaManager would notice that when checking posts and you can replace them right away automatically.

--------------------------------------------------------

Will take a look into that ordering replace from .txt problem.

The problem doesn't happen if the number of dead links and number of new links in txt is exact match.
But if themaManager found 20 dead links, and the txt file has more than 20 links then the problem happens.
Or if themaManager found 20 dead links and the txt file has less than 20 links the problem happens too.

Thanks for the update. Haven't tested the fix yet because the copyright shits are taking a vacation or something.

Can you please add "load dead links" feature?

Here's my situation: When my files get mass deleted, I know immediately because I have a notification set up.
So I re-upload the files right away, but I have to wait a long time for themaManager to check the links and display the dead link in the status window.
I close and re-open themaManager so it starts checking for dead links right away(there's still the 2 minute wait before it starts).
Since I have 1000s of links, it takes a LONG TIME for themanager to check and display all the dead links that I need to replace.

So, it would be useful to have a feature to load dead links from txt file so I can start replacing the dead links right away.

I've tried selecting multiple posts and using "extract links" to replace the links, but it only edits the messages in the selected forum. And it takes a really long time
to manually find and select all the posts with dead links across multiple forums.

It really doesn't matter how you make this feature, but I would really like a way to replace dead links right away, without waiting for
themaManager to check the links.

Maybe, add another tab that displays ALL your links, dead or alive. And it has the same "replace link mode" that can be used to replace links.
Or the "Links" tab has a button to display all links that are in queue for checking.

I really hope you will consider this.

Thanks always for your awesome programs and hard work.

Well shit, I jinxed it. I just got hit hard by a mass delete of 400+ files.
The problem seems fixed. All rar parts were correctly matched by filename without error.

Could you use my forum for suggestions / bug reports: themaManager ? forum ?

I check it more much and I always re-check it when working on program. I tend to forget things which were posted on other forums sometimes :)
