Hello,

We are working hard to bring new RDP location i.e. Netherlands.

But before we go on finalizing the our new location and new "encoding" offer we need your
help in deciding which kind of offer we should do with our new location.

Current we are offering normal HDD plans in our Germany location you can find
those offers here.

So we are looking at the maching with sames specification i.e.

Intel Xeon E3-1230
32GB RAM
1Gbps Port Speed
Admin Access

But we are confused about what should be the HDD configuration and plan pricing.

Here are the option(Please do repond to poll also):

1. 120GB Pure SSD Monthly - 25$/Month (Max 8 users per server)
2. 120GB Pure SSD Yearly - 240$/Year (Max 8 user per server)
3. 450GB HDD Monthly - 25$/Month (Max 8 users per server)
4. 450GB HDD Monthly - 240$/Year (Max 8 user per server)

Would you prefer SSD over HDD if yes why?(this survey is about encoding plans only)

So participate in our poll and let us know what configuration you would like to have
we will try to bring them for you in very near future in about few weeks time.

SSD will not help much for encoding, probably slightly improvement which is not noticeable. SSD helps only to moves data one hd to another hd or fast rar/unrar.

i used to encode a lot of anime episodes and that time i used dedicated server, when i encode cpu used to hit 60~70%. however i used x264 preset "very slow" fore encoding. i can see many rdp provider providing encoding rdp, how 7~8user can encode at same time if single encode hit 60~70% cpu? or rdp can restrict to use cpu core per user?

Thank you for your opinion on this.

Regarding your question how 7 to 8 user can encode at the same time they cannot. However this is generally not the case
users generally encode for certain amount of time per day rest of the time server is free for encoding.

So generally on shared encoding servers user utilize different time slot and hence everybody is able to utilize the server
resources for their tasks without any issue. If you need dedicated/24hour encoding then user can always go with dedicated server :)
