Im kinda new to the whole SEO and promoting thing,so maybe someone can help me

What steps should i take to attract more visitors?

What i know i should do

-Create backlinks
-Write articles

What i dont know:

-Articles,where to publish them?
-Any other tips you can give me

At 1. i would like to add: make sure your content is unique!! very important for Google. And don't use RSS feeds from other sites!

Your site looks very clean, i like it. Don't add more ads.

Create backlinks by forum posting, blog commenting, link wheel, social bookmarking and more. Find high PR sites to create blogs with your keywords like this:

yourkeyword.blog.com
or
relevantkeyword.blog.com

Find sites that allow articles, like EnzineArticles and add your articles there, also on the bottom of each article add your site name so people will go and look for more articles on your site.

But first, make sure you do proper onsite SEO for your home page and blog. Make sure to add good keywords and verify errors.

After your done with onsite SEO you can move to offsite which means creating as much authority link as possible. Don't use black hat software like SE Nuke X or XRumer, etc.

Make a youtube channel for your site and add relevant videos to your niche, this will bring you good direct traffic.

For future, create as much backlinks as you can and don't stop the SEO work, never stop it. Because you will go up and down on the Google search engine.
