Yeah I also tested one of his RDPs, so far best RDP I used.
So i just now tried a demo for the service and i must say, i am impressed. Extremely impressed. When you talk about an EU RDP this is what you expect, fast torrents download rates and great speeds to EU hosts.

Downloaded a torrent and it went at around 12mb, and uploading to filehosts was blazing fast. Filesonic upload was around 15-20mb while rapidshare around 20mb which is far far ahead than my current EU RDP.

I'll be getting a spot very soon, i hope all the slots aren't taken by then
Speed is good its awesome ;)

Damn the cheapest is $40 lol
If you had any for like $25-30 I would buy

Any test accounts? I definately need LEGIT 1GBPS speed

Hey Noimus,

Yes I know, the deals are amazing, but they start at high specs. If we would put more than 4 users on a HDD, the speed would no longer be good, so that's why.

Can you explain me what you mean with "LEGIT 1 GBPS"?

I tried many 1GBps ports and usually I get 10mbps up. Thats like a freaking 100mbps dedi O.o
Thats why a real 1GBps port would be 40-60mbps. Do you install rTorrent if asked?
Thats why I want a test account to actually see the speeds.

Hey Noimus,

If you really want the highest speeds you will need a dedicated HDD, the speed you are talking about would be a miracle. There are several reasons for the speed to stay low:
- If you want to download 50 MB/s there has to be host (or multiple hosts) that is capable of uploading at that speed dedicate for you.
- If you want upload at 50 MB/s there has to be a host capable of downloading at that speed.
- Torrenting is very intesive for a HDD, that's the reason why most RDP providers do not allow it. A HDD will maximum get 40-50 MB/s since torrenting has a high IO-usage.

So honestly, expect 10 MB/s from a package with a shared HDD. We can prove that we have a 1 Gbps line, since we can download from RapidShare at 70-80 MB/s.

I have few question here.
1. Hotfile working?
2. How many user per server?
3. If I order the 1Tb hdd, it is dedicated hdd?

Hey,

1) Yes, HotFile working directly.
2) That depends on the sold packages. But normally around 6 users. In case everyone purphase the biggest one that would be 2.
3) Yes, the HDD is full dedicated, other users are not able to read or write on it, it's fully yours.

If you have more questions, please add me on msn support@rdp-hosting.com.

Thanks

is it allowed to download from filehosts with this toreent RDP? what do u mean by our own software? does it mean we could install softwares we want? no need to contact the admin? thnk u

Hi semiclip,

It means that most basic tools are already installed, and if it's not, drop us a ticket and we'll install it right away.
And yes you can download with this from normal filehosts as well.

Regards.

Hey,

@CloudShadow: Yes, I am sure it's fine. Do not worry.
@kundurocks: The price is absolutely not high, it's the cheapest one on this forum, most providers don't even allow torrents. $40 for 250 GB is really cheap. The plans are big because we may not place more than 4 users on 1 HDD to keep up the speed.

Regards.

Price is too high mate. $40 starting price wow. Looking for a $20 RDP with torrents allowed. 100-150gb HDD is good enough for me.

Honestly mate, you don't need to restrict your server to just 4 users. A 1gbps server can be easily used by 8 users comfortably.

stop bitching this price is right im currently paying $40 for 200GB US though with torrents on 1GBps

if you get great speeds then its well worth it, I've had problems in NL with torrents though depending on which DC the speeds were weird

but good luck :D

Hey,

8 users on 1 HDD for torrenting won't work. Everyone will complain about the server being laggy and programs won't boot. Sharing an uplink is not the problem.

The price really is not high. You are placed a $350 machine.

Regards
