Dedicated RapidSpeeds.com - 100Mbps/1Gbps Unmetered Dedicated Servers, From £95 (NL & US)

I just bought USA dedicated, first impression is not very good (speaking about upload speeds):
- Fileserve upload between 200-300 Kb/s (same for all similar hostings like uploadstation, userporn, videoBB,...).
- Wupload about 1Mb/s using ftp (using fileuploader or web speed is lower).
- Bitshare and uploaded.to speeds are good.
- Filesonic speed using FileUpload is extremely fast.

I bougth USA with the hope of get nice upload speeds but seems that i waste a little my money :( , not sure if is a fileserve side problem...

Anyway the support is good, as soon i run more test i return more info. :)
 
ask them to move you to the plan and server you want. if the price is less,they will add it back(not the whole,it`d depend on the days you have used etc.),if it is more,you will have to pay it.
 
zeocat: People seems to be very happy with the USA Servers so far. It may just be your server. Could you run a few traceroutes and open a ticket about it please?

I already have a ticket open in which i provide all screenshoots about speeds and traceroute. Now waiting... because seems that the best choice is wait and try to move to NL :'(...

Well, zeokat that would be the trouble with ur server alone. coz fileserve works well from US Servers.

And rapidspeeds, i have ordered dedi without raid coz at that time i had trouble with arranging $ for raid. but now m in need of it. is it possible to upgrade?

but my dedi in NL , upload to Fileserve like good, but bad to filesonic and wupload :'(

Filesonic should be fast, mainly because filesonic is fast from everywhere.
Try to use FileUploader Keo, bad news again saying that NL speeds sucks too, because i requested to move to NL seeeeesh :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
 
oh i think you should request update port to 1gbps
i use Z-o-o-m when he begin code it :D
i'm request to updating to port 1Gbps . 100mbps = 50 mbps down / up : 8 = 6.25 MB
1Gbps = 512 mbps down / up : 8 = 64 MB he he
and if 10Gbps

Ok, everyone who is complaining about the upload site speeds.

As I said, we buy our own bandwidth, so we can pick and choose which transit provider we use for certain destinations (provided we have an alternative).

We had it set to default which most times uses the best route possible, and DTAG (Deutsche telekom) is a enormous company, normally with great speeds, but seemingly not to these upload sites.

So what have we done to fix this?

We have changed the traffic carrier and re-routing DTAG traffic, and already we see traceroutes/preliminary testing is between 5x - 10x quicker.

Please let us know how things are now, we welcome your feedback.
 
From what i heard - the NL servers ( Evoswitch Network ) have better upload speeds to Filehosts like Fileserve/Filesonic even though they are in the US .

In the US - only with Softlayer network you can get awesome speeds to Fileserve/Filesonic
 
yes, some my friend tried and say same : Evoswitch Network connect to Fileserve/filesonic, wupload is great. so why reason i choose rapidspeed
