question, image resizing

what's a good width \ height size limit for forums
my graphics card has never been completely up to date
so i'm unsure about most's monitor resolutions.

average is currently 1024x760.... hieght dont matter as there will be down scrollbar bit set your overall forum width to bout 960px IMO
