Problems with Site on Some SEO Parameters

Hi Everyone,

I have this website searchoflife.com. The site is active and I ran a scan on SEOMOZ which brought about certain errors. The reason I did was that I found that the site was not showing my URLS being indexed on any search engines including google, bing and yahoo. Here are some errors which I dunno if they are actually errors or how to go about fixing them.

1. Title Too Long Error :- In the screenshot below yu can see 'Search of Life' is being added before of every title. How do I remove that and just have the Title as it is? Or will it be better if I place the site's name after the post title? Eitherways how to set that?

2. Duplicate page Titles :- As per my understanding these particular titles are being created automatically by the theme. Is this normal or any rectification is required?

3. Too Many On-Page Links :- According to Seomoz the number of links on each page should not be hundred. So is this normal for these pages which are again formed automatically? As there will be about 10 posts per page and it is displaying tags as well. Should I remove all the tags to be displayed?

4. Google Indexing:- Before the real site came live I had actually tested a medical site on this domain. Google still shows those URLS . So should I run it through webmaster & request them to remove or put those URLS in robots.txt?

I just installed Wordpress SEO by Yoast.. Hope it will be fine.. Will have a look at Ultimate SEO... I have also submitted the sitemap to google and bing. But the title on the browser is not changing even though ai added the Title on the SEO section...

I started getting this error in the blog pages below the Footer. While going through the code it said the error was due to the Untrailable slash for tags. I unchecked that option from the SEO settings option still the error is not going. I also removed the slash in the end from the Permalinks. The error only disapperad after deactivating the plugin. I have now uninstalled the Yoast Plugin and installing Ultimate SEO. Hope it will work.

I have installed the Ultimate SEO plugin and there was a Title Tag Rewriter Plugin. The following is the screenshot of the settings.

However I think since my Homepage is a custom Static Page I need to put the title on the Page. Or should I keep it the way it is.

Hi Again,

I have managed to change the Title tag for my homepage. Although in Google it has not yet reflected guess it takes time. But since I am using a static homepage my Blog Page is not showing me correct title. I have updated in certain places but there was no effect. Currently it is showing the following screenshot as well as in Google search results.

As you can see it is showing "| Search of Life ". I would like it to be shown as "Blog | Search of Life".

Currently I am using SEO Ultimate and in that there was a section called Title Tag Rewriter. I entered the text in there too but still it did not change. The Blog page is using the blog template.

Hello Again...

I have noticed that google search is showing search results of my tags instead of URLs... I have added the tags not to be indexed in the robots.txt... But how to get my URLs in the search results?

Ok I have again started getting error on the homepage Title. Its taking one of the Posts name. Please help me guys...
