i am superadmin, was trying to run autopost script, removed edits from that. anything i did before that didnt affect acp

Don't bother with tools.php yet. Just go to config.php in includes via ftp and make sure your user id is the one set in the SA slot. If it is there then try tools.php. But always do that as a last measure and rename tools.php to something like 8dsuasd83.php

my other admin has the same problem. my name is in sa slot as well. shown as user 1
do i change it to my username? or keep it as my userid

Strange, very strange....

Try tools.php, see if that works.

If it doesn't, create a new username, update userid for SA to that userid, login to admincp. Then remove product that you just installed & all edits made. Check user permissions of your original user, make sure everything is right, then reset userid back to 1, try logging back into acp.
