http://profiles.google.com is just a subdomain of google.
Your profile page will be a custom sub-domain like https://profiles.google.com/123456789123/about which will be PR0 when created.

PR is an abbreviation for pagerank AND PR FOR PROFILES.GOOGLE.COM PR IS ZERO (0)
I would suggest you to check out some proper info articles on google related to Page Rankings and how it is calculated.
