Ok this is how the drama is begin. On Friday 03 Feb GMT+8 im ordered Dedicated Server, on site got option list for uBuntu

I know, almost all Dedicated Server process took 24~48H and he promised me ill get server on Monday.

Im still not getting the Dedi until now, then im update the ticket again. Look what they reply me

I cant wait for it anymore, when i request for refund he said
I'm afraid there are no guarantees

and he told me

and it will be ready within the next 24 hours

waiting again?

So in this case the refund is really not available? They should make confirmation before put list of OS X-(

too late your server is being setup, there's no way they will refund your money

but actually you can remote reinstall the OS to ubuntu
just google it there are tons of guides for that
 
Ubuntu is available at NL datacenter for softlayer cause they've it listed on there website it's always better to mention which provider you're talking about to me seems like they've very little knowledge of Ubuntu this why they're telling clients who order from them that Ubuntu can't be installed when infact that's a lie there several peoples I know they've Ubuntu installed on there softlayer NL server.

I recommend that you mention the provider you went to get this dedicated server as I've told people before it's always best to buy directly not from a reseller.

I recommend that you vist softlayer live sales chat tell them your issue they should be able to help you out even more probably yet make them send your money back since they're stating the operating system you want installed can't be done.

Seem like refund is available, but almost of hosting provider hide behind thier OWN TOS

I say keep talking with sales chat until they get you escalated further yes I can agree with you most provider do hide behind there Terms Of Services legal you're obligation to a refund since you order Ubuntu it wasn't available or listed has not available when you made your order with them as I can still see on HostHatch it listed on there website doesn't state anywhere that they won't install it.

You ordered X with Ubuntu, you paid. And you will get X with Ubuntu. If not you have the right to get a refund since you didn't got what you paid for. This means you will win the PayPal dispute.
 
From the time i spoke to this guy abdullah when i was going to apply for their host staff.. Hes pretty smart guy... The rest of his worker monkeys are just people they picked up on the side with little to no knowledge...

The recruiter no's jackshit about servers he asked me where to find rapidleech :/...

So if abdullah is not helping you just get a refund

Actually i dont want this problem keep longer, and i dont want to mention about your company too H-Abdullah/HostHatch because people will reply and give bad reputation. I open this thread only looking for solution, $345 is not small amount for me and im waiting almost 5 days for dedi. If you not refund me because of OS not available thats really strange, make sure you make confirmation before taking order or remove list of OS if not support :)
I already bought custom VPS from your company, i never complain to get refund right?Honestly, your VPS is good and nice speed + good support.
