Need Help With Video Editing Software

Hi All.

I have to edit some videos like simple cutting of some portion. I did some search and found so much tutorials of Cyberlink. Which One of these will suit perfectly for the given task ??

use avidemux for h264,xvid,divx streams.if its a raw transport stream,you may try transport stream packet editor,h264ts cutter(free and best),videoredotvsuite 4,projectX,cutterman,

or if they are raw mpeg2 streams,create a avs script and cut using megui.

if this sounds a bit complicated,just cut using virtual dub.[OR virtualdubmod]

Dont use stuff like cyberlink etc as they are lossy+There are simpler software than them for simple cutting which is want you want

for simple cutting you can use realplayer trimmer

for home videos u can try windows movie maker, its good enough for small stuff and its already installed, simple to use also.
