Need Advice: Choosing an OS of VPS for Wordpress Blog

The title says it all. I'm kind of new on VPS, and am somewhat lost on which OS should I choose. What I'd do on the VPS is just install a wordpress site with image galleries hosted in it. And maybe a small phpbb/SMF forum in the near future.

I saw various options, which were:

Ubuntu 13.04 32Bit
Debian 7 64Bit
Debian 7 32Bit
CentOS 6 64Bit
CentOS 6 32Bit
CentOS 5 64Bit
CentOS 5 32Bit

Just to be sure I want to ask, do difference in OS have a major impact on Wordpress and other common site scripts?

Go with CentOS 6 64Bit
 
choosing os depend on how you getting used to it :D
centos more noob friendly repo etc, debian for light, ubuntu for geek :)
 
Personally I would go with the stable version of CentOS, however if you are more familiar with Ubuntu then you could also go that route. In the long run it is whatever is going to be easier for you. If you have any questions don't hesitate to PM.
