I just purchase new dedicated server I want know how much % my new server will give good performance then my old server

New server config
Processor : Xeon Quad-Core X3450
Ram : 24GB
Drives : 2 X 2TB .Hardware RAID Configured !
Port : 1Gbps

Old Server Config
[FONT=&quot]Processor : Quad Core Xeon E3 1220[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]RAM : 8 GB RAM[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Hard Drive 1: 512GB Enterprise SSD[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Hard Drive 2: 500GB Enterprise SATAIII 6.0 Gb/s (For Backup) [/FONT]
Port: 100Mbps

I see that on old server you had SSD drive where as on new server you have SATA. You will find slowness in read/write speed depending on how the old SSD was configured. But, the difference will be micro seconds.

Overall the new server looks good.
 
Server is not all about hardware .., It all depends on how good you can optimize the things you install according to your system.

You will feel the difference in I/O speed due to SATA disks in new server but you can compensate that in caching huge chunks of data on your 24GB RAM.

Rest all seems fine.
 
In which server my client site will load fast?
And there is only little difference in both server?

what site do you host there? as ServerPolice said, is not all about the hardware. for example same site will load fast on nginx and wont load at all on apache (because large number of visitors for example). there are hundreds of factors who can make a site load fast or not :P
