Though, Porn Industry is a bigger niche but has less paying advertisers. However, mainstream niche has lot many advertisers to choose from.

Not an answer to OP's question but you also have to consider the fact that porn is less risky than movies from a legal perspective. On top of that you'll have less trouble with DMCA takedowns with porn content. At any rate, it's not easy to do well with either because there are 1000's of competing sites already.

Both are good if you have plan to get traffic. Social media is slightly more difficult with porn sites as facebook and some networks will ban you for promoting pron. But with movies you can share posts on social networks. If you have a good method to get traffic to the porn site either one is good.

I think a website with movies will bring you more revenue... If you manage it properly and have good content and fast loading times you will have more traffic than with a porn site.

Of course porn tubes outnumbers every time...
