I knew nothing when I started last year - I took the time to teach myself how to start a blog

sure i still have plenty to learn - but most hosts have 1 click installations for new beginners.

New server. New email. New account, new everything, changed the layout of the posts. I am sure I did nothing wrong. Posted new topic, got approved, posted 20replies within 10+min of each one, got banned for posting too fast... Wtf...

My first account that got banned for 'posting too fast' had over 100k posts...

If you don't mind me asking, how much were you making on forums and how much are you making now? Just to see if it worth the risk of starting my own site.
 
@MilanK2S would you consider an option to enable/disable preview generation for video files - just like you have this option for video preview for 30 secs 60 secs etc.
Would be great with screenshots/previews available as well as video previews.

Yes, some videos were from there pornhub,without watermark (but none in the last month), there was no problem for 9 years

Everything I do is via bank wires.

Back in October their bank was not able to wire funds to my bank (which is one of the biggest banks in the world).

It was a long story that I won't go into details, but after a month I was able to learn international bank wire lingo which I should never have had to learn and was able to set up a route for their bank to my bank.

I was getting ready to do another payout with them, looks like its going to be interesting agian.


An update on the API, they FINALLY responded to me and told me that the reason why the API was broke for me was because I had more than 50,000 files in each of my folders.

This should have been something their support should have been able to know, it really sucks that they wasted several hours of my time troubleshooting this because all they would say is "please check your code".

I was able to create a new folder and sort of get their API to work again. What sucks now is that they block me from uploading the same filename more than once. Its not even a checksum filter, its just based on the name. Its not that big of a deal, just a real big pain in the ass for me to deal with that while parsing out their response for what I need.

So for all the reasons above I told them that they're going to remain on pause for a few weeks, they left me no other choice but to move on to another file host and now I am seeding my site with that host's links.

Thanks for the offer, I wrote scripts in bash and php and both failed. Despite them telling me over and over again that it is in my code, it was that their file system can't handle more than 50,000 files in a folder.

When I circle back on this next I think what I'll just do is create a new folder everytime I upload a file, that way I'll get to figure out how many folders I can have :)

After 2 weeks or so they told me bank wire was not posible for the moment and after 1 month
I was forced to request payment via Paypal. Normal fee for bank wire is $5 now using
Paypal fee is over $100.
Asking them who is going to pay the extra $100 no answer. All they answer is asking my
manager or my boss.
Ofcourse never got an anwer from the 'manager or boss'.

I also moved to another filehost and this time it might be permanent.

A tip to keep2share "COMMUNICATION".
