Someone shared this with me on my forum and I thought you guys might be interested.

As Rapidshare changed their TOS to delete anything not downloaded in the last 90 days if you have over 25GB of files uploded on your premium account, someone made this problem that will download 1kbyte of each file this tricks Rapidshare into thinking the whole file has been downloaded and then resets the counter for another 90 days.

Rapidshare
Code:
http://rapidshare.com/files/296347043/Alive.rar
Easy-Share.com, Megaupload.com, Filefactory.com and Depositfiles.com
Code:
http://uploadbud.com/files/0AZFLV3A/Alive.rar

As long as you have your security lock active there shouldn't be a problem using this application.

Instructions come with it and it takes around 2-3 mins to run.

Hope this is useful for someone :)

Oh Windows is required, I ran it on a Windows 7 (64) system. Its also a German program but the Readme contains easy instructions.

How To Keep All Your Rapidshare Links Alive :

This program is in german, so here's an explanation of how to use it :

1. Make sure that your Rapidshare account is locked with Rapidshare's Security-lock feature, so you don't have to worry about security.

2. In your Rapidshare premium zone, go to the very bottom of the page and click on "Downloadlink-Export (all files)" OR just go to this URL :
https://ssl.rapidshare.com/cgi-bin/premiumzone.cgi?export=1
and it will display ALL of your uploaded files. Highlight and copy them all.

3. Open up the LinksAlive program, enter your Rapidshare premium login id where it says "kundennummer" and your password where it says "passwort" (remember if your security lock is on, you don't have to worry about anything)

4. Click on "Links aus der Zwischenablage einf¸gen", then "Dateien anladen beginnen"

and it will start downloading just 1 KB of every file you have uploaded on Rapidshare. And that way, all of your files' last download day will become...TODAY! do this once every 90 days, and your files will never be deleted by Rapidshare.

Edit: Rapidshare now only keep files for 60 days, so make sure you run this every 59 days or you will lose your files. Thanks :)

Doesn't seem to work over at my end. Doesn't change the 'Last Downloaded' crap.
