Kaspersky Vs Symantec Norton Antivirus

Which is the best antivirus do you think?

Kaspersky --- > Why ?

Norton ----- > why ?

I used both i vote for kaspersky Internet security 2010 as it uses less resources. KAV detects more viruses than the other or is saying that it detected.

NAV is resource hungry which slows up your pc. Less detection . Huge updates.

Post your experiences. =)=)

Never had a problem with Avast

Avast = Free..

Free can be good .. can't be good. but most of the time avast won't detect good in my opinion.

Used Kaspersky ... computer got infected after 2 weeks

Used Norton ... PC almost died because of the resources

Conclusion : Use Ubuntu <_<

I'm on the paid version. I have used the free as well and found it to work awesome.

AVG used to be good back in the day

simple ...avira less resources beasty detection and doesnt lag the comp but it gives a lot of false positives

nod32 with daily update is best. i used kaspersky, norton, panda,macaffee etc all those failed. nod32 less resource hog,detects newer virus too

Norton - you're better off using no antivirus at all
Kaspersky - good detection rate, but be prepared to pay for it.

kaspersky internet security 2010 is great. I never had problem with that.
Norton is horrible lol

KAS & KIV rocks if you use a Legal License (Bought & Not a Patch)

Else, Avast 4.8 (Cracked) is also a good option.

I have used everything, NOD32, Norton, Windows Live One Care, AVG, etc.

Windows Live One Care catches almost everything, although you have to pay a good chunk of cash for it, I have NEVER had an infected computer...

Norton was BY far one of the worst choices I ever made.

AVG is what I use on 4 of my 7 computers. I have never had a problem when I have AVG installed.
