I am currently only submitting to Katz but contemplating on submitting to other DDL sites as well.

Do you guys get much traffic from other DDL sites to make it worth your while to submit to them?

Most DDL sites also require a linkback to their site. Now, I don't wanna add links unnecessarily unless its worth it in terms of traffic.

Well phaze has stopped replying to emails. I guess its not possible to whitelist sites there anymore. So at the moment, its only Katz.

What about traffic from Mecho, Nexus and Atomic? These 3 names comes up quite often while discussing DDLs. Are they any good?

Katz is only Good

4* and 5* site might receive good traffic from them as downloads are on front page.
But not for new site.
 
Well if you rank high on the other ddl's you can combine for an extra few 1000 uv in a day. I mean it is not a lot in comparison to what katz is sending, but it isn't bad, free traffic for submitting which your doing anyways. Plus the links are in your footer which won't affect your site too much. I know ddl0, mecho, twilight and nexus you can hit 2-3k with in a day. :)

Well its preety good to submit to other ddl sites, as this can bring you other traffic to your site, this can either be by their ddl being added to search engines and when people are looking for a thing they can come to your site.

So its better if you submit to others aswell :)

Me and mecho are both trying to overtake phaze.

ya they are not accepting new sites ,but i have a old blog listed in phaze and getting good traffic.

I Must say that you should submit to MechoDDL,I am getting good traffic from Mecho.Yes they are growing very fast.

Mecho+Atomic+nexus==1k uv
 
pompom I still find it hard to believe you get 1K UV/day from katz mate. I have a 3* and still don't get 1K visitors from katz. I have heard of some 4* forums getting just 1.5 to 2K UV/day from katz. Somehow the figures don't look convincing buddy.

Currently the 2 DDL's that give me the most traffic are Katz and Hotfiledownloads (Since I'm 4* there) . I don't get anything from Mecho and Neus currently as I'm just 2* there. :(

oh... if 1k is good traffic for you then yes... lol but i don't know how you want to make money from this.

20 000k unique visits / day is ok i guess... 10k = minimum. all below 10k is totally worthless i think. :S

Lols who want to make money with a 1* site.1k uv/day from katz for a 1* site is enough.
I dont want money anyways.
My mistake I should not say good traffic,Its enough Traffic from just 1 DDL site for a new site.

I guess submitting to a few other DDLs can't hurt. My site is brand new and any traffic I get, I will take it lol.

Btw, is anyone using Mechosubmitter here? It doesn't seem to be working for me :S
 
smoky, are you using any auto submitters? Warez Linker and MechoSubmitter aren't working for me and rardownload.net submitter is down as well. Any other?
 
You still have to request them to get your site whitelisted but they aren't attending to any whitelist request mails for a while now.

dude are you serious??i'm 3* at phaze and was 3* at mecho phazeporn send me like 600 700 visitors depending on how much i submit well i was getting 10 14 v from mecho so for me katz and phaze are still the one who send more and i submit to nexusddl also :D i remember ddlo use to send good traffic even when i was 2 * there :))
